Novotel Suites Den Haag City Centre Hotel 4 stars

I asked for highest floor and very quiet in my booking which was not granted. Then the allocated room was quite noisy (corner room). Finally I was moved to a high floor room which was very smelly but was too tired to move again. I took my entire team to the hotel this time, and I will seriously reconsider this choice for my next visit.

This property met all of my needs, including centrality, security, cleanliness, and comfort. The staff is very warm and professional, answering all questions with kindness and great competence. The room was private, well-appointed, had lots of natural light, a pleasant skyline view, and was well-designed. The bed was comfortable, the linens were fresh, and there was a nice bathtub for soaking. Having stayed in many apart hotels and hotels in general, I prefer this property to staying in an Air BnB because it has all of the necessary amenities without the headache of figuring out quirky rental properties. The building is very secure. The whole outfit is run with professionalism and thoughtfulness. It is right in the heart of the city, with grocery stores, restaurants and trams literally right outside the door. At the same time, it has a peaceful and tranquil ambience.

Hotel is very well located. Room was clean with a good size.

It wasn't the first time I stayed in this hotel. The staff is very friendly and helpful, the check-in/ out are very easy, the room is comfortable and the location is perfect - not too far from my office. I always come back, when there is availability.

Surprisingly cool design of the rooms made us feel very much at home. The Manager helped us big time since we had a wrong booking via Booking.com Not to mention that once we were out of the building we could walk throughout city center. Would love to see this place own its own parking since we’ve spent 50% of the cost of 5 day rental on parking cost for two nights.

Very friendly staff, we felt home

Staff polite and friendly and under stood the issues we faced due to the hotel being full to capacity. The reception/breakfast area could not cope with the volume of guests arriving for breakfast .... it was impossible to have a relaxed/enjoyable breakfast. On several days my room was not serviced until very late in the day (17:00 or so) and was not being serviced to the usual standard .... look rushed, no shower gel in the shower, hand towel for a shower mat etc. Rooms starting to look tired .... parts of the curtains hanging down (not hooked up properly), sliding doors on the wardrobe/utility area not sliding smoothly.

Chill environment with friendly reception.. I like how the room is designed and complimentary espresso machine is amazing. However, i found that providing slippers in the room is necessarily to be considered.

Rooms were pretty good and ok and great shower. Even having a seperate bath was nice for the kids. Room was set up pretty efficient and like that. BUT arrival was very negative experience with room not ready, so we waited and then we had to wait again for more than 30 minutes. Not good. Furthermore the breakfast was a negative experience as well, perhaps too busy but no free tables, people standing and eating, dishes everywhere, not enough food, not enough staff, so pretty nasty experience and was not expecting this from Novotel. Not having a proper reception also is not a very good thing from my view.

Overall very good, it is great for families! The price and value were correct, clean room, nice service. The only thing that must be better - is the breakfast which was not fresh and in some cases even not correct to be even served (health and safety issue)

Well equipped for short stays, it was comfortable and easy with a toddler. It is in a very central location and superb for shopping and sightseeing in The Hague. We were disturbed though during the day even with the “do not disturb” sign on the door as 2 staff came in without announcement to check the fire alarm system. Only after asking them repeatedly as our child was sleeping, they left. This made us feel uncomfortable for the rest of the stay and should not have happened. Parking is very expensive (35 euro / day).

We stayed here for two nights. It was a very nice experience: The livingroom concept, Big room (bigger than we thought), the perfect location. Our daughter loves to play in the living room during breakfast. We did online check-in and check-out during our stay. The process was straightforward and quick. The breakfast was excellent. However, we expect more green things (vegetables and fruits) for our breakfast. We stayed on the 4th floor in which the room was very convenient and bright. It would be beneficial if you put some more pictures or painting on the wall (plus some relaxing music) since the paint on the wall is dark grey (and weather outside sometimes is not that friendly). Above all, we enjoyed the time during our stay and definitely will stay here again when we visited The Hague. Thank you for giving us lovely nights and stay!
