Arrived and was met by lovely receptionist but unfortunately had a mix up with rooms and when I was exiting the shower was met by a couple checking into what they thought was there room

I previously stayed a few years ago. This time, there was no hot breakfast buffet, which was dissapointing as it was one of the reasons I chose to come back. There was no soap in the shower. Overall, it was fine.

Due to Covid we have had to change a few things in the day to day running of the hotel one of these being our breakfast service. n order to ensure all our guest and staff feel as safe as possible we have temporarily changed from offering a hot food buffet to made to order hot breakfast service. We feel this is most effective at this time and reduces the risk of germs between guests. Please be assured as soon as we feel the time is right we will transfer back to a full hot and cold breakfast buffet. We do provide shampoo, conditioner and shower gel 3in1 bottles in the bathroom so I do apologise if during your visit this was missing from your room. It had been 4 weeks since my previous stay. Unlike October, this time I received a letter at check-in outlining changes to the normal service due to Covid and it all made sense. Extra pillows and towels were provided without delay. On the second night the room key locked me out. Keeping up with the staff as they ran up and down the stairs several times to the sixth floor to fix the problem literally took my breath away.

Friendly staff. Good breakfast. Comfortable bed. Downside was not sockets beside bed to charge mobile phone. Not enough toilet paper had to ask. Front steps to hotel not very tidy. Good location.

Disgustingly dirty hotel room

The only things that are good about this hotel are its location and the customer service. The cleanliness of our room was terrible and the same goes for the hotel in general. The carpet in the corridor was filthy and our room was dirty. We were greeted by dirt, hair and dust. Our room had wood flooring that had a layer of dirt and grime on it. I found rubbish under the sofa bed and had to ask for toilet paper as none had been placed in the bathroom before our arrival. There was one combined hand wash/body wash dispenser by the sink. It would have made sense to have another one in or by the shower.

An easy walk from the city centre, with lots of cafes and restaurants nearby, we were very pleased with our accommodation. The hotel is near to Botanic train station which was very handy for the next leg of our journey.

Never been to Belfast and I wanted to stay central but I didn’t want it to cost me the price of an organ. I can across the Ibis and base on the price and the pictures on the website it booked immediately. The receptionists were welcoming, friendly, and answered all my questions. The room was very clean; the temperature was easy to control and the carpet in the hallway was clean as well which isn’t the case for most small hotels. I’d definitely stay here again.

Good location, clean room. No shower gel in bathroom, it was missing. Used glasses not removed by house keeping. Breakfast a disaster both days. Virtually no food on 1st morning. No yogurts either day, no eggs on 2nd day for the 40 mins we were there. The Ibis in the city center is spot on.
