A working toilet would have been nice.

A working toilet is something that we've come to expect when we stay in hotels. Unfortunately the toilet in room 7 didn't flush, and we had to fill a kettle at least 6 times in order to flush it. We only discovered this problem at 4am, when we found out that the toilet wasn't refillling from it's first use at 11pm. Breakfast was chaotic, with apparently too many guests arriving at one time for the amount of food that was being brought out. There were long queues for the breakfast buffet food to arrive and guests were constantly waiting for "missing" selections to be brought out. The food itself was good, but the queues spoilt the experience. Overall the room was good (apart from the toilet), with a comforatble bed, and good rainfall shower.

The hotel is well located however the bathroom and furniture upholstery could be more appealing . The reception area is like a 2 star property. This hotel is not 4 star. The staffs were very nice at reception . Breakfast staffs was lacking .

When booking I was surprised no confirmation email is sent, I amended my initial booking to add an additional night and this was done incorrectly and I was charged as a no show which then took multiple days to get sorted at which point I was not confident my correct booking was now in place. On arrival at the hotel it was 9pm and due to other hotel issues it sounds like we had been moved so our room was not ready, we were not happy at all considering it was so late and we are meant to have been able to get into our room from 3pm. Breakfast was severely understaffed, we could see everyone was trying to get more food out but there was an enormous queue and took a long time to be able to get a breakfast. Even the milk for cereals took ages to replace. The tea was also un drinkable which I can only assume was from the water left out.

We had requested a family room but was put above the disco- the whole room was shaking with noise. We had a poorly 4yr old so you can imagine this isn’t ideal. We asked to move which we were told we couldn’t but eventually was given a small double room. We had to take a put up bed from across the hotel ourselves as not enough staff. Both rooms were filthy!! No plug socket next to bed. My husband has a CPAP machine so had to source an extension lead at 11pm- not ideal. Overall we were really dissatisfied with our stay.
