All in all the stay has been great! A massive thanks to the great Team ( Anthony, Kevin, Morgan and Brenda) they’ve been super nice! Unfortunately the bed sheets were not so clean which caused me and my friends swollen eyes (Might check and clean the beds a bit better)

The hotel is not clean as it should be for a 4stars hotel! The carpets are extremely dirty and the furniture is ripped in some areas! Plus the rooms are noisy with the doors slamming all the time as there is no system to prevent the door from slamming when closed. In addition to that my request for a calm and a top floor room was not granted, they said that there was a bug in the system and they couldn’t give me a room on the fifth floor, so I had room number 404 with an additional sofa bed which was open! This made the room smaller and I was alone as a guest so there is no logic in giving me this room ! However, I’m sorry to say that it is not worth calling a 4 stars hotel ! Regards,

Reception staff was friendly, no restaurant - would be good if the hotel could suggest restaurants that would deliver decent food. Rooms are quite old, no fresh fruit at breakfast. The area is terrible ...

This is not a 4 star hotel by any stretch of the imagination. The area is sketch and being under construction doesn’t help the cleanliness of this place. The room was big enough the carpet VERY stained and pretty much in need of replacement. The wifi did not work for more than an hour of our stay of two nights. It’s ok for an over nighter but more than that your better off at the 3 star Ibis down town. Would not recommend unless they renovate.

We booked the hotel as we wanted to use the spa, but the spa was closed and we were not even informed. We had breakfast the first morning, but we only got a croissant, a chocolate croissant, juice and a coffee. There was no omelet or anything else...for this kind of breakfast we had to pay 12,50€. Overall it was a bad experience. The reason of giving a 3 is, the room was clean and comfortable.

Malheureusement, nous ne sommes pas responsable du quartier, et des travaux qui y sont effectués. Ce n'est pas évident pour nous non plus. Le parking est conforme; et en fonction de votre véhicule, à vous de la conduire. Certains clients rentrent les SUV dans le parking. Nous ne sommes également pas responsable de la crise Covid, et nous adaptons les services de l'hôtel, conformément aux règles imposées par le gouvernement. Bien à vous,

This was the first time we chose Mercure Gare to Midi and for sure won't be the last. Great service from all stay (the Front Desk assistant was the best part, always kind and making us fell welcome at the hotel). The bedroom was super clear and very spacious. We could enjoy our breakfast in the lovely and very quiet terrace. Great hotel.

Great value and location but during February 2020 construction outside made the street a mud bath and virtually impassable. Also late at night the area became questionable.

everything went fine. the only issue were the roadworks and the hotel was not so easy to access by foot. The manager gave us a room on the other side of the hotel to get a more quiet setting, which I really appreciated.

This wasn’t what I had expected from a Mercure hotel. We waited on the street outside for the door to be unlocked for several minutes after ringing the bell when we arrived in the afternoon. The staff were lacking in customer service and were rarely visible in reception or the bar. There was very little local information or knowledge. For the price we paid I would expect a higher level of service. The room was very comfortable and exceptionally clean.

Mercure Brussels Centre Midi is well located for the station but the area is quite rundown and there was a lot of work going on immediately outside (large excavations on the pavement as new piping was being installed). Hotel is in same block as a striptease club.

The room was very nice and big, the breakfest was good, the distance from the hotel to the city center is about 15 minutes walk, the internet was fast, also the hotel is near the bus station that goes to Charleroi airport

The area where the hotel is situated is very rough and it felt very intimidating and dangerous The hotel was average but the worst part was the greeting of the receptionist. We arrived and she was looking at paperwork which she continued to do for at least 1 minute without looking at us then she answered the phone. After 3 minutes she looked at us and without any apology said 'yes', not a great start!!
