Nice hotel in central Bangkok near Lumpini park. Staff were excellent and very friendly. Great rooms. Rooftop bar was busy but a great location for a drink early evening. Restaurants nearby as well as in the hotel. 4 or 5 minutes walk to the BTS Station

The place was clean, the room was good except they couldn’t provide bathrobe during this time. The breakfast is buffet but it didn’t meet my expectation, there were less choices for food. Couldn’t watch any channels on TV.

1. Wrote a email to the hotel before my stay for the bed preference, no reply. 2. During check in, nothing was considered for my gold membership. I have even asked by myself for the welcome drink and room upgrade. 3. When I talked about the welcome amenities for the gold member, the answer was we do not offer. (I believe this is not according to the ALL policy) 4. Reception in general is not friendly compare to the Thailand standard. 5. The pool area is not well organized, it looks like nobody in the hotel is taking care of the pool area. 6. Towels are too old, the color has been changed from white to light grey. 7. Breakfast has very limited choice.

My worst stay in an Accor Hotel in Bangkok

I arrived at the hotel to be told I have to wait for check in and I was the fourth group in the line. I asked if Accor Gold members get priority check in and was told I have to wait like everyone else. During check in, I discovered that the reception staff took an inordinate amount of time because they were using laptops and trying to fill in the fields whilst navigating a cursor using a touch pad on the laptop simply takes time. Hotel is getting old. That's fine. My needs are quite simple. A clean bed. Check. Good breakfast spread. Check. Hot water. Missing!!! Day one after check in, I noticed that the hot water supply was iffy. With the tap for hot water turned to max and cold water totally turned off, I could get some warm water. In the morning, it got worse. Water was just freezing. I went to reception to inform them of the problem and was told they would get engineering to check out the problem immediately. Told them I was leaving in 30 minutes and they could go to my room afterwards. I returned to hotel in the evening and to my surprise, problem was not only unresolved, there is simply no more hot water, not even warm. I went to reception to ask why the problem was not fixed. The manageress (the same person who checked me in) looked surprised. Obviously no one did anything. She made a a couple of calls and then informed me: You have two choices. I can call engineering to come and look at the problem or you can change rooms. So now this is becomes my problem? I told her I was going for a foot massage and will be back in 90 minutes. Go get engineering. More than 90 minute later, I returned to hotel and the same manageress informed me that the problem has been resolved. I went back to my room and problem was NOT RESOLVED! In fact the floor in the shower stall was bone dry as was the sink in bathroom. Doesn't look like anyone came in to do anything. I took my cold shower (AGAIN!) and went downstairs to inform the manageress problem not resolved. All she said was engineering told her they have checked. As it was getting late and I have a very early flight, I did not relish the second option of changing a room. The next day at 5.30am, every second under the cold shower was one too many and I told myself, never again will I stay here. Why should I pay for a Yama Executive Room and have to bear with cold showers every day?

Hotel had only been open 2 or 3 weeks after a shutdown of 2 years. Many services were closed. Staff was very friendly, willing and helpful. Bath was definitely not clean. Would recommend eating breakfast outside at the nearby Coffee Academics cafė.

Hotel Muse- Run down hotel . I stayed at Hotel Muse on Dec 11-12, 2021. The bedding/ linen and many things were run down , out of conditions especially pillow, topper, duvet. Sleeping on hard& lumpy pillow /topper duvet did not get me the good night sleep. When I took out the pillowcase/ bed sheet/ duvet cover , found out that it has been used since hotel has open in 2011. Ten years later hotel still uses the same one. I will never consider going back again. Other than bad sleep quality. there are too many things to improve. -No welcome gift, no room upgrade ( Gold -Accor Plus) - Shortage of staffs especially breakfast restaurant , only 2-3 staffs compare to more than 10 guest tables. One person must do everything - hostess, waiter, sever, runner.... however, compliment to the staffs that still gave a very good service even shortage of staffs -Broken TV ( no picture on screen only sound and it was not smooth sound with high pitch note repeatedly ) even if already asked hotel to send someone to fix it , later on it was broken again so I decided to just turn it off. - Room telephone was broken, operator cannot hear my voice clearly - Room linen- only provided 2 bath towel and 1 hand towel , and the fabric was very rough as sandpaper -No bidet sprays at toilet -Low pressure shower at the bathtub & shower room - Gym , the machine was run down , I got a sticky dirty hand after using elliptical machine handle, no hand towels provided only bath towel for pool. To Management/ Owner The country is open now; we all know hotels suffer from Covid-19. -Please invest with your hotel ,hire more staffs to serve your guests satisfaction. -Buy new bedding/linen, don’t let your guests use run down stuffs. -Guests will never ever come back from bad experience they met at the hotel.

First time in my life that the 5 stars hotel has no one to answer the phone even before arrival or inroom call. If you need more drinking water, you have to go down, cross the road and buy it by yourself. Staff was EXTREMELY confused and seem like temporary. !!!!

The hotel has got excellent ambience and nice rooms. I checked in when the hotel just restarted for three days. Took 1.5hrs to check in as platinum member. No buffet breakfast and slow room turnaround.

I was there when it was a holiday in Thailand. The hotel is just re-open on December 1st. The staffs are new and not enough, but still the services are great. The place is good. The view of the Speakeasy rooftop bar is great.

Staff are very attentive. Bed is very big, kids love it and room is clean. During breakfast, staff are very helpful.Rooftop bar is so beautiful. There are a lot of drinks to choose from. The hotel is located in the center of the city with easy access.

This hotel has really a charm due to his nice and tasty decoration.The service is perfect. However many TV foreign channels were not operative (Is it due to cost control?). The Duplex suite is very well designed , with large bathroom and living area.

The hotel was Great boutique hotel in the city center. The room is very nice decoration. Check-in smooth and staff friendly, good services mind and helpful. Location was good near BTS Chidlom station. Breakfast very good and we are so full.

I cannot say anything negative about this hotel in principle. For me personally it was too dark, you always had the feeling that you were in a poorly lit cave. The only thing I criticize is the breakfast. Absolutely unacceptable for this class of hotel, the selection was pathetic, nothing really healthy, no bread, although there was very good bread in the in-house restaurant, it is absolutely a mystery to me why you don't get that served at breakfast, I suspect that they don't think further.

I stayed with the Muse for three times already and it is always as good as it should be. Thank you for the welcoming smiles and helpfulness from the Front Desk, Concierge, room service, the restaurants and housekeeping. We were moved for every gesture and friendliness from all of you. The room was clean and neat, the breakfast was fantastic and the Italian restaurant was perfect with good prices. Looking forward to my next stay with you.

Excellent Stay

Stayed 4 nights at this hotel recently from february 25th to the 29th. Arrived very early at 08h30am after a 24 hour flight. Even at this very early arrival, they had a room ready for us which was well appreciated. But unfortunately the room on the 10th floor had a very unpleasant musty smell probably due to moist and mildew. After a short rest we complained to the reception and were immediately upgraded to an executive room on the 22nd floor with a terrific view which was great. The hotel is well located right downtown. Breakfasts are outstanding with multiple choices and the service throughout the hotel is excellent. One of the remarquable advantage at this hotel my wife and I found was the happy hour from 16h30 to 18h30 everyday at the rooftop bar on the 24th floor with complimentary delicious canapés and unlimited free alcoholic beverages ( beer, wines, cocktails, spirits ) from a designated list. All this for 2 full hours. Never seen before! The food at the restaurants is excellent. Although the prices for dinner are quite high. As others have noted the pool area is in fact very small. As also noted by others the overall ambiance is rather dark especially in the lobby area. In fact there is practically no real lobby area in this hotel which is rather odd for a 5 star hotel. Another negative aspect is that we received very little information if any about hotel services and amenities upon check in, different restaurants, pool area etc. Neither did we found any information inside our room either that we usually find in hotel rooms, restaurant menus, available bars etc. Everything had to discovered by ourselves by asking at the reception desk. In short the real asset of this hotel is its location, its comfort, its excellents breakfasts and its generous happy hour.

Excellent location and close to all the big malls and F&Bs. Wonderful services and facilities. The inhouse restaurants are top class. Short walk to metro. The lightings is not enough for me but I guess this has to do with the hotel's theme.
