Overall great experience. Few things would be nice -- wash clothes! Rooms are small, but hotel is centrally located. Found lots of places to walk to and great places to eat. Hot water was sometimes an issue and our room keys had to be reprogrammed to work. Made it a pain when our room was located far from the elevator and had to go all the way back done a few times to be able to access our room.

Check in experience very slow and frustrating. We returned after 6 days inland and had to go through the entire process (and more) again. Knowing of our return, the passport photocopy could have been kept on file? Or at least, as in another hotel, staff kept the passport (with the room #sticker on it) while we took 20 minutes to unpack and then we retrieved it on the way to supper. And in the busy process, it also seemed inappropriate to force us to sign up for the hotel rewards. (Again, maybe only 30 seconds, but with 20 people arriving at once, it’s time consuming)

good location but slow service

1 of the front desk staff was extremely slow,chating around during checkin. Housekeeping was not ready even at 5pm we have to wait. room was small,sink pipe was leaking,water drops to the ground. shower door can not be closed tight so all bathroom floor gets wet after shower.

Location is great, breakfast was satisfactory. Boxed breakfast was served on the day when we had to leave for the airport at 3 a.m. but were disappointed that the hotel did not serve coffee or tea.

I like the IBIS. It's functional with no frills but clean and comfortable. It's also incredibly busy. Great location a short walk from the Ocean, near shops and restaurants. Good breakfast. Shout out to Elisabeth, the helpful and friendly receptionist. All the staff are friendly to be fair - not always easy when you are so busy. Check in isn't until 3 and unless you book an early check-in you aren't likely to get in much before that, be warned.
