From the moment I reached the front desk, it was clear that Mohammad Jad is not just good at his job — he excels at it. He has that rare combination of composure, clarity, and genuine warmth that immediately sets the tone for a smooth stay. He didn’t just process a check-in; he managed the entire interaction with the kind of confidence and attention to detail that makes guests feel respected and welcomed. What stood out most was his ability to listen. He paid attention, understood our needs instantly, and handled everything without a hint of hesitation. His professionalism is steady, his approach is thoughtful, and his manner is naturally reassuring. You can tell he takes pride in getting things right — and it shows in every step. Staff like Mohammad don’t just represent the hotel; they elevate it. He set the standard from the first minute, and it made all the difference. Another person who deserves recognition is Bhanu, who works as a bellman. He’s the kind of team member you remember long after checkout — not because of big gestures, but because of the quiet, genuine care he brings to every moment. There’s an ease and kindness in the way he works that immediately puts you at comfort. He anticipates needs without being asked, offers help without making it feel formal, and carries himself with a sincerity that can’t be trained. He treated our luggage with care, guided us with patience, and checked in on us with a gentle professionalism that made the stay feel human, not transactional. Nothing felt rushed, nothing felt forced — just pure, grounded hospitality. Bhanu brings heart into his work, and it’s impossible not to notice. Novotel is fortunate to have someone with his authenticity and consistency on the front line. Because of amazing people like these two, Novotel Abu Dhabi Gate will always feel like our home away from home. A genuine thank you to Mohammad Jad and Bhanu.

Just wanted to highlight a couple things. There are addtional areas, but the front desk, rooms service food, and laundry services need massive improvement. Was at the hotel this morning, did not see you but was around 0900. The lady that checked me in seemed very disinterested in attending to anyone including myself, I was also asked to leave my EID for the day. (Not sure this is normal practice). I left my luggage with the bell boy and had asked that when the room was ready if this could be taken up, however when I arrived at the hotel at 1700 today all my luggage was where it was left this morning. Who knows who could have been through my bags today. When Ahmad attended to me on my check-in it was clear that nothing had been handed over from the lady in the morning, although she was still at reception the attitude and assistance to pass information was simply poor. On arrival in the room, it is clear that the AIRCON is not working, seems room was turned down in a rush, lampshades on lights bent and out of position... NOT ACCOR Standard. (Room not that appealing and clean). When reporting the aircon on my way to BBC to the same lady from the morning (Alyssa I think) again no interest. Lift waiting area on floor level warm too, seems no aircon working in this area.
