This hotel should not be associated with Accor. As a Gold Accor member I was treated like scum, couldn’t get a booking for dinner, when I asked was it at all possible to squeeze 2 more in, the reply was NO we’d be losing money if we let you have dinner here, no answer on the phone when I tried room service, went to reception to order room service it was over an hour wait, we didn’t bother. On check out they tried to charge for accommodation that had already been paid for with Accor points, the response was oh so we have to “ burn” that …. Never again will we stay here

Stayed for two nights with 1 free night. Manager upgraded room to a superior room which was very nice and appreciated and will be returning in the future. It is close to everything we like doing in the Hunter and nice and quiet
Lovely Surroundings, No coffee making facility.

Unfortunately we had no kettle in our room for tea or coffee on a 2 night stay. I requested a kettle as from Reception to have housekeeping supply when making up our room after our first nights stay. I also mentioned this issue to Breakfast staff who also said they would pass this information on. We had an early morning appointment the following morning and to our disbelief still no kettle for a morning coffee before departure. My companion had to wait for reception to open at 7 am to pass on our dissatisfaction and was met with more mixed messages and poor communication. I am unsure as why a simple checklist did not identify this problem prior to our arrival ?

Upon check in the receptionist on duty had no knowledge of our booking (booked through Accor). Had no rooms available and then told us at 2pm that there were still guests in our room, then changed excuse to room not ready, and changed another excuse to room not allocated to us . We were told to come back later. On our return at 4:30 we were then shown to our rooms (King suite with spa). One room (105) was dirty, but livable , however the room that we were shown 106, had no hot water pressure and no shelving in the fridge as well as a horrible mildew smell with mold in the shower. We went back to reception who gave us a key to room 206 to use the shower. The next morning we were given a new room 201. This room seemed fine however the shower drain was full of hair. In all, 3 rooms over 2 nights all were dirty and not acceptable for the standard the you offer
