Mostly everything was good. The shower in the accessible room was quite disappointing as both the ceiling and hose based showers were very low pressure. The hose head was quite leaky on all settings. Otherwise it was good.

Overall an ok place to stay. The rooms need some TLC for example just inside the room above the doorway was a huge spider web full of bugs and the toilet would kept dribbling after a flush you had to hit the button 5-6 times to get it to stop. Beds and pillows comfortable but the twin beds far too small.

Well I understand there was a letter that said that they spray regularly. The place was covered in bugs and marks on the wall for where the bugs had been killed. There were nicks and paint chips on nearly all the skirting boards, cupboards and cabinetry. There were signs that the bathroom was not thoroughly cleaned and the sliding door was unlocked when I arrived. Despite the hotel looking very quiet, I was placed in a room very close to the main road (I understand this may have been the room class booked for me). Reception welcome was cold without eye contact. The bar and restaurant played different music, both competing for airtime. Food always exceptional as was the young girl serving in the restaurant.

Enjoyed our stay. Rooms good size , clean and a very comfortable bed. Quiet but close to Hunter Valley gardens and the village and activities as well as walking distance to a couple of wineries and cheese shop. Restaurant was excellent. Food served hot and tasty. Fresh produce. Hotel staff friendly and welcoming. Lovely stay.

We liked the hotel location, layout and indoor bar areas. We used the sauna, spa and gym which were good. Large clean rooms. Helpful, cheery staff members willing to help. We would return.

Just back from the Hunter to celebrate my wife's birthday. The Mecure was a great place to stay. Things are a little dated but our room was massive, very clean, the bed was comfy and staff were lovely. We also wanted to go to EXP Restaurant and it was only a 12 minute walk from our room. We'd happliy stay there again.
