The experience was terrible. The room we were given hadn’t been cleaned properly. Dust on the bed head, all along the skirting boards and the handles in the bath were covered in rust. We couldn’t sit in courtyard, it was covered in leaves, broken branches and bird droppings. Moved to another room. Courtyard slightly better but room conditions worse than the first. (We have photos to support this) Flat batteries in the aircon remote. Breakfast was ordinary, scrambled eggs were still raw. We haven’t been to Mercure Hunter Valley in a few years but have been there on a number of occasions previously. The standard has dropped alarmingly.
