There were particular problems re making the booking. I got through to the on-line site and having waited for a very long time decided to phone the hotel. I spoke to the perso who answere said I had a problem and also said that I did not expect to pay the higher price for having to phone. The phone was put down on me. I tried 7/,8 times more to phone but although it rang no-one answered. I tried again to book on-line and was now informed the hotel was fully booked.Later I tried on=line again and managed to get a booking.

Beautiful place, with very kind, professional and polite personnel and no open wishes. Creativity and improvements of comfort can be experienced continuously. In particular, the installation of a fridge in the rooms are of great advantage. A recommendation without any doubts, for short and long-term stays.

Nice hotel, nice service, good price

Interesting and nice Ibis hotel, but very far to centre of Samara (45 minutes by tram number 20)...About the service: It is so typical Ibis service everywhere in Russia, pretty the same breakfast bad omelette without taste, but sweet nice Nutella for desert (and all this for 450 RUR). About the room: I had very nice room, bigger than before (as Accor Platinum cardholder room upgrade) and fruit plate with two bottles of water as welcome gift. That was very nice and I was very surprised. So, I recommend this hotel, the price of stay is great, quality is European and smile is Russian :-)

This hotel is still in acceptable condition. But the staff, mainly young girls, is not trained. Thus, if you like young silly ladies this hotel could be suitable for you. But if you like good service, it is not the place. Be ready to see unclean bath corner as well as unpredictably prepared food. If you taxi to airport is late or you need to find it by yourself around the hotel, please do not resent: this is common live in this hotel. The hotel is located far from the city center and traffic is hard: take a tram!

I've arrived at night about 1:00 am. I asked about possibility to have something to eat. They say - OK, no problem, so I ordered Spagetti and tea pot and asked where I could sit. I sat in pointed corner and started to work. After 25-30 minutes I understand that something is going wrong and my dishes should already be cooked. I came to the bar and .... surprise - they forget about me and my order completely. No exuse and go to bed hungry and angry. The story is not finished yet. I've booked this hotel through web site and there was no selection smoking or non-smoking room. In Europe many hotels are already 100% non smoking. When I go upstairs to my room I felt very strong and unpleasant smoking odour. I returned to the reception and only then I was informed that they have no non-smoking rooms. Finally they brought absolutely useless ionization device but it was very difficult to sleep in this stink room. The last scene in the shower water has no any pressure at all and pour with tiny stream. So my experience - you are not welcomed here.

I stayed in Samara Ibis for almost a week in March and April 2013.The purpose of my visit was business. The hotel staff was very friendly and always ready to help. The hotel restaurant is cosy and offers a good choice of international cuisine. I definitely will choose this hotel for my next stay in Samara and can recommend for everybody; well worth the price.
