We often stay at this location and always reveive a warm welcome. Staff without exception are friendly , check in efficient and rooms are spotless. We usually add a couple of requests when booking and these are always honoured - in fact on arrival this time we were informed even before we asked that the extra towels and pillows were already in the room and that we have a room at the front overlooking the sports field - well done.

I was stuck in Gloucester because of the Covid situation, the area went into Tier 4. All hotels closed incl the hotel I was staying in, luckily Ibis stayed open for people like me that were stuck. My stay was very good, although because of covid rooms aren't cleaned daily and towels etc provided on request. If I requested, I received what I needed. I do think the rooms are only ventilated by opening the window, is a shortcoming as when you open the window, you can very clearly hear the trafic.

The staff, both night and day teams are always welcoming and helpful. The hotel is conveniently located with good parking and night access requires a room card making it feel a secure location to sleep in. The effort everyone has gone to be covid secure is apparent and the rooms are spotlessly clean. I've stayed more than once and the standards are always consistently high. Thank you.

This has become my second home when working back to back nursing shifts. Joann and her team are always welcoming and helpful. I feel confident that measures in place to maintain strict hygiene and safety during these unprecedented times are robust. I like the ‘unfussy’ design of the rooms (no ridiculous scatter cushions harbouring nasties) and wooden floors. The team have managed to provide a limited menu, but I do miss the halloumi salad

Hi I stayed in Room 202. I hardly got any sleep whatsoever and had to arrange towels under the windowsill. Have a look for yourselves. Room 202. You’ll find damp in the walls and also the curtains are completely water stained. I reported it on the way out. Pretty much watched TV all night.

Stayed in room 315 room next door were playing loud music through a stereo speaker at 3:30 am Contacted reception someone came up as I heard them talking/arguing 10 Minutes later music and singing came from the room Contacted reception Got a phone call back within a minute Reception told me they had the tv on and there was nothing he could do about it would I like to change rooms I tried explaining it wasn’t the tv and that I was not packing my stuff up and moving at nearly 4am I was pretty much told nothing could be done How can you allow that kind of attitude in a hotel Do you not have a noise policy Do you not care about your other guests I’ve stayed at the hotel many times and it was my favourite out of all the hotels in Gloucester itself I will think long and hard before I stay next time at your hotel

No problems with the room and the staff were good. The problem was the catering. Thursday night we had the chicken pasta and, whilst it was good, the portion was more of a snack than a meal. With regard to the breakfast grab and go bag I considered this to be poor, it was not value for money and not everybody likes apple juice,it should have been orange or a choice. I will be staying with you again but , if there are still restrictions in place, unless your catering is improved I will not be eating with you.

I had Accor points to use up so I booked at an Ibis. Room mostly clean, but I had forgotten how much I dislike the pod bathrooms, which smelled strange on this occasion. Room on front was very quiet which may be a covid thing? Breakfast in a bag not tried. In any case Accor had put a security hold on my points which had to be covered by a call to customer services. Although this got fixed, it was unnecessary irritation. Back to Premier Inn from now on
