We (2) needed a bed for the night driving UK to Austria. The Ibis Verdun was perfect. Simple, clean, tidy, large comfortable bed, separate shower and toilet. We arrived at 01.00 (due to delays). An e-mail to Accor a few hours earlier had been responded to very quickly (on a Saturday evening) telling us how to print off our room number and access the hotel. So no problems. Very good, and great value for money.

The hotel was adequate, room clean but small

We have no complaint apart from the coffee machine in the lobby. We find the liquid quantity delivered not worth the amount paid. €1,60 for about 100-150ml, we judge this to be a joke. Who wants to pay that much just to wet one's mouth? In the B&B in Mulhouse the vendor was honest enough to display the quantity as 200ml, one could thus decide in advance if it was worthwhile. Because of illness I could not travel on the date for which I had booked. On trying to change the date of my stay till the 7th of October I found it impossible to do so. My email to Ibis Verdun could not be delivered. Phoning nobody answered. Awful service. Will not use again.

However your reservation was made by PREPAYMENT, cancellation and modification is not possible for this type of booking this has been stipulated in the closing of your reservation by internet. We are sorry that you could not speak with us however our reception opens these doors from 16:00 to 21:00 . Best regards, Alicia.
