Really dissapointed with the terrible service we got from the novotel pune, specially when we were asked for 175 rs just for using the cutlery and plates, the rooms were very hot and we had to ask for table fan, which also came after arguing alot. Never going to stay in novotel pune and might also not renew my accor plus membership

The room was cozy and sanitized well. We were “the guest of the day” which seemed like a bigger deal than it was, but it was a free soft drink, which I suppose was cute. Parabhjeet was very helpful and sweet. We ordered a cake at night and we’re not given any cutlery and were told that the cutlery was chargeable! Which is literally the most ridiculous thing I have ever heard. Who charges to use a fork? I was pretty livid about that and probably the only downside I felt. The bar was closed due to covid rules, which I understand, but that was a bummer also.

2 Star Service at a 5 Star Hotel

From arrival till departure the service we received was super mediocre and we didn't feel welcomed by the staff. • On arrival we were made to wait in the extremely hot lounge without any refreshments or fan. We were waiting almost 25 mins for the receptionist to get back to us regarding our room, but I had to personally go and ask what was the hold up about, she looks at me and says oh I was just coming to tell you that your room is ready. • As we entered our suite 649, we noticed the closet lights flickering repeatedly, the dustbin had no padding for the stepper and the TV had no paid English/ Hindi channels we could watch (It's a 5 star, do you expect me to pay 3 rupees for MTV?) • When we were draining the bath tub water, the entire room got flooded due to some leakage under it. It took the hotel 2 hours to transfer us to a new room. • Even after our package offered by the hotel included a comp off on dinner upto 1200 per night, the attendant would still bring the card machine to collect payment every night, it was tiredsome to repeatedly explain to a new person every night. • The communication between everyone at the hotel was extremely poor, any query we were either put on hold forever or disconnected abruptly or got no call back. • The food was below average, while the dessert especially the tiramisu was inedible, had a peculiar smell to it as if the cream had gone, unfortunately we couldn't consume it. This only a small gist of our experience, lots of smaller issues that I've not put in cause this review would not come to an end. We're probably never returning here cause there really isn't any thing to look forward to at this so called 5 star. A word of advice for the management, do get your team in order and teach them communication and the importance of it in the hospitality industry. Super sad that we had to spend 4 days at Novotel.

As pune was under lockdown we had to be confide ourself in the room. Room given to us was not well maintained also noise of loudspeaker from mosque was heard.

you guys are charging 175 INR for empty wine glasses, who will charge such a huge amount, will never book room in novotel pune. had good expereince is novotel khopoli but pune its not.

Dear Sir, This is a reference to our booking in your Novotel Hotel , Pune Nagar Road. Our Reservation Number was KGNSCTXL. We have secured this booking by giving credit card details and made payment for the stay on 3-4-2021 on the basis of your proforma Invoice. We also requested you to not take payment from guests as we have already paid it in advance. But still you hold the guest at the hotel as your Account team was not available on Sunday to confirm the payment. Due to your internal mismanagement our guest might miss their flight. It is not our fault that your account team is not available to confirm the payment on Sunday. You have taken full payment from Guest as well at the time of Check out and our guest has paid it as they don’t want to miss their flight. Now you are asking for their bank details to return the amount paid by them for their stay as you have received payment by twice . We have requested for not to take payment from the guest as this is company paid stay and your reservation desk has confirmed the same. We are really unsatisfied with your service and Hotel management team due to which we have lost the trust of the guest. We hope you will return their full amount which they have paid and the time of Check out and will apologies for the same. Thanking You

Faced issue with in room dining services on Sunday morning. No-one was responding to our request neither the hotel was allowing outside food. Room cleanliness and other services were all fine. One more issue was at the difference in rate. The bill at the time of checkout and the amount that was charged to me were different. Almost 25% higher rates were charged on the total amount. I won't prefer Novotel for my future bookings.

WORST PATHETIC AND UNETHICAL PRACTICES DUE TO HIGH COST CUTTINGS

the hotel is open to all . i being an accor plus ( all member ) . knowing that the rates were low due to covid-19 they are on a spree of unethical malpractices like . not giving a welcome voucher to the member of accor staying in the hotel. charges on ordering cutlery like spoon or a fork or even a single plate. they are trying to remove their hotel cost expendutres via these practices and thugging thier in house guest. the manager has no answer during an arguement which i had and also thier in room dining manager was very rude and unpolite. please avoid this hotel . they lure you to book a room with their low prices online or on the accor app. but there are plenty of other options way better then novotel pune in the area with a slight higher price where they fulfill all the said promised services which are mandatory and also a right of the customer in house guest.

The stay was amazing... it was a great experience altogether, The services were great, rooms were tidy and sanitized.. the only thing which they could have add on was we went on the day when it was my friends bday so I asked the restaurant team to arrange a cake or lunch if possible, but they never got back to me on that part... Still I was satisfied as the other services were good and the breakfast was also delicious...
