Very convenient for the F1 track. But could be a lot better. It's not my first time at this hotel and the service is not as good as it once was. From house keeping to breakfast buffet. It was disappointing.

The Sofitel brunch is great. Beautiful venue, lovely food, great atmosphere! Shivani was a lovely server! Thank you. We had a great time. The only comment was we had to wait quite a long time between drinks, and we had to ask for ice several times.

For a family of 3 - our daughter is 8 What was positive : Room - very spacious - view on the sea amazing - good size balcony Public area - nice swimming pool and beach - poney ride organized for kids - event are organized (live shows ) Front desk and lobby - very nice with flower bouquets - very helping by finding out some clothes our daughter left after that we checked out Food & beverage - very nice staff attentive to guest needs and wishes To be improved Room - old furniture and pillow on the balcony - poor choices/ quality of amenities in the bathroom - vanity with 1 sink - no Nespresso machine - globally outdated - awkward space between mattress and headboard where pillow will be squeezed food and beverage - Italian restaurant : even though it was a open BBQ night , the food served was not up to the bill received - closed to 1000 SaR - some staff (not smiling at all) are having breakfast along with the hotel guests Public area - kids pool skimmer gratings were completely out of place / being dangerous tripping hazard for kids running around - despite warning addressed to the pool supervisor , the situation has not been solved - workers were doing painting job around swimming pool the same time hotel guests were using jacuzzi In short we could not find in Sofitel the 5stars service and facility quality you should expect , consequently we extended our stay in Bahreïn but in other venue , for same price range in Jumeirah Resort , 20min drive away

The hotel has been absolutely amazing, from food, amenities, to great customer service from all their staff! Kiran was great at providing friendly room service on a late night after the F1. I would all round recommend this hotel and the Bahrain weather is great in April.
