Hall way to rooms were smelling. Leaking roof on 4th floor. Carpet in room is old and smelling. I had a smilar bad experience the last time I came I was hoping the place had been renovated. This time it was worse. There was no light in the bathroom. I had some bug bite from the bed/beddings. Hotel Property has been allowed to detolerate badly. When this hotel was first built I was one of many who loved it. Now I hate the place. On my return flight out of lagos I stayed this week at Golden Tulip opposite the ibis hotel even though I had to pay Naira 10,000 more i didn't mind. I hope to never return to that hotel except the entire hotel is renovated.

The hotel needs improvement in the area of cleanliness. The rug in and out of the hotel rooms had stains, something needs to be done about it. The front desk staff too needs to get more friendly to returning guests as it is done in Europe and elsewhere around the world. Overall,I'm satisfied with my stay at the hotel except for the points that I made earlier on. The bed was very comfortable, strong wi-fi and nice foods at the restaurant.

There was water leakage from the ceiling, I guess from the AC system. They made attempts to fix it and it did stop at first for a while but started again at about 2am and all night long. Ruined my night.

I have stayed at this hotel several times. The proximity to both local and international airports is big advantage. The food is good too. Staff are courteous and respectful. However, the carpets need to be replaced and fans installed in the bathrooms to prevent mould.

At the check in counter the delay was too much, due to only one worker at the check in . Also the lift was dirty despite a call to the house keepers no one responded. I actually tripped due to the liquid pored inside the lift and everywhere became slippery .

My experience with Ibis has always been pleasant until recently when I discovered all my accrued Reward points from previous stay(past seven months approx) were not captured Did complained severally on this all to no avail, this invariably made my status to be dropped unceremoniously from GOLD about two months ago - VERY UNFAIR TREATMENT/EXPERIENCE & I felt really bad.
