We had a beautiful room, although the spa bath had rust in it and did not look clean. Apart from that it was beautiful. But the noise from the early hours of the morning approximately 5:30 am. was absolutely horrendous. It kept me and my partner awake for hours and seemed to stop and then start up again very regularly. We had an abysmal nights sleep And left exhausted in the morning. More needs to be done with soundproofing the windows if there are going to be lorries, bin lorries and all sorts of very loud noise coming through the windows at that time.

We have stayed at the Centro before, and this time, we were greeted by Kylie, who was extremely professional and friendly. Also, Klena (Chloe) in the restaurant was very knowledgeable and helpful. The staff couldn't have been nicer!! Our room was up high, the floor just below a wedding that was happening that night. We were informed it may be a bit noisy on our floor, however we heard nothing! not a peek! LOL so that was a lovely surprise! Then as we were coming down in the lift, we got a sneak peek at the bride and her bridesmaids, and of course, she looked beautiful! All in all it was a great stay, and it is our preferred hotel when we stay in Port Macquarie.

My overnight stay with Mecure port Macquarie was exceptional. I had escaped a stressful situation and was able to sleep comfortably and relax before returning home the next day. The room, the service, the breakfast all 10/10. I'll definitely stay again.
