The worst hotel I’ve experienced

TripAdvisor rating 1.0/5

Jacquie C TripAdvisor review

This hotel is the worst I have ever stayed in! Despite mild spring weather our room was unbearably hot without ventilation. The design of amenities within the room were entirely unthought out. There are no drawers or shelves for toiletries, clothes, underwear etc. the only storage for clothes was a cupboard with hanging space. However the cupboard space was almost entirely taken up by a built in fridge arrangement together with kettle, cups and coffee facilities. Am I. The bathroom - minimal horizontal space (wasted space beneath the basin) and not even a spot to hang a hand towel. Really - what are they thinking? No consideration has been given to what a traveller needs. We have made makeshift piles of clothes, moved the fridge out of the cupboard, used our cases as repositories for small articles (instead of drawers) and sweated through the night without covers. Atleast we have a roof over our head. But the cost is not commensurate with the the facilities and I would avoid this hotel like the plague.

Would like to thank Amand Goyal and his team for providing an excellent experience today. He was very attentive but not overbearing. Nothing was too much trouble. Both the selection, quantity, and quality of food were excellent. Thank you for a wonderful afternoon tea.
