Excellent hotel

I stayed one night with them, the hotel was excellent, good service, good location, it is one of the few Mercure hotels that gives you soft drinks and water in your room, they notify you by email before your arrival if you need anything extra.

Cosy hotel in central Oxford

The hotel has a traditional feel and is situated in a great central location. Although a little on the small side the room was very clean with a lovely and powerful walk in shower. The breakfast was relaxed with a nice selection of hot and cold food on offer.

Good stay in a well located hotel

Would have given 9/10 had the guests ‘areas been a little warmer in the day time, we had lunch upon our arrival in the hotel restaurant and had to keep our outdoor coats on and so did a couple sitting at another table. Staff were very friendly.

Great location, room alright, no USB charging port. Great bathroom. Helpful & courteous staff.

Ask for a room with a good view. Also, if you don't want to spend all your time going through a maze of steps, etc. - tell them - so, that you can get a room closer to one of the exits. We had to go down the entire length of the hotel (from the street side) to get in/out. Took a while.
