We popped in for lunch and discovered that there wasn’t even a waiter to bring us a drink. Everyone had to go back and fore to the bar to make an order. What is it about the management of this hotel? It has a great location and huge potential but always seems to be running at half-cock.

Enjoyable Stay.

Good room, bath a bit slow but shower adequate. Loved the balcony. Proper swimming pool which I enjoyed. Food quality good - well cooked but choice a bit limited. If I'd been staying 3 nights I might have struggled to choose. Breakfast a good spread. Service at reception and in restaurant very good. Very good value deal overall. Pity parking has to be paid for as an extra.

A lovely historic rambling hotel with a pool! The staff were welcoming and friendly and pitch perfect on interactions making the stay. There were plenty of things to do within walking distance and we recommend a trip to the vineyard (on foot!)

Really enjoyable stay

Stayed on company business, I was pleasantly surprised by the hotel reception and bar area had a nice feel to it and was greeted by a really pleasant and friendly receptionist nicole who couldn't have done more for me and other guests , The rooms were good and comfortable a little bit dated but very adequate for what I needed. The staff in the breakfast area were superb and very attentative and polite and work very hard. All in all a great experience and I would stay there again.
