Overall very good but a few ,in our opinion,minor details need improving. -the ability to book a car parking space on booking would be very beneficial. -on arrival in allocated room the suite of suede type contained dirty stains (blood or chocolate);we moved to another room. - new up-graded room (214) contained a dusty pair of somebody else’s socks under the chaise lounge, carpet was also very dusty in this area. -the room entrance door card did not work,we were stayed 3 days and were on the 2nd floor. -the shower overflowed onto the bathroom floor, waste trap needs regular cleaning. -not enough breakfast tea bags supplied daily. BUT the above did not ruin our stay.

We chose the Queen's for a Mini-Honeymoon break because of its location and style. The whole experience was fantastic and just what we were looking for. The staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast options were as tasty as they were varied. All round a great time away!

Staff were lovely, check in was speedy and the location and exterior of the hotel were impressive. Unfortunately i had a huge cobweb hanging from the ceiling (room 106), and although they are high ceilings it was very visable, even though unreachable. Also, i am afraid to say that although the breakfast experience was pleasant, the poached eggs i received were stone cold. Saying that overall, i had a satisfactory stay and for the location and room size it was worth the money.

When I arrived I was told that my room was already occupied and so I was upgraded to a city view room. I was really excited! Unfortunately this room overlooked the main road, pubs and restaurants as the name suggested and so I got very little sleep due to all the traffic and drunken shenanigans. Also the tv was to the left of the bed which made it really awkward to watch. Such a shame as I had been looking forward to this stay for a while.

Welcoming staff. The ALL app bug unresolved. Did not get members rates when 2 rooms are booked at the same time. Hotel refused to honor the discount. Car park limited space Ev chargers blocked by none EV. Hotel could not do anything about it.

Returning for first stay after the break from COVID. Almost the entire team in the hotel has changed. I used to get free upgrade mainly because of my loyalty to Queen’s. Now all this is gone. I have to pay for upgrade. The suit I left with the hotel before COVID is gone and the hotel management has not given me an acceptable solution to this issue. If my loyalty is no longer appreciated, what is the point for me to stick around?

Lovely hotel, freidnly staff, great location. However my room was freezing, or boiling hot with the heater on. Ordered room service, fish & chips + a desert delivered with 2 knifes and 1 spoon.

Had an overnight stay at this well known hotel The Queens, the room was Lovely great view over the park , everything was lovely . Such wonderful decor around this hotel the staircase is the best ! Greg in the breakfast room was a delight , breath of fresh air and so friendly and happy , Will stay again loved it

Really delighted with our room with it’s lovely view of the Promenade. Staff were friendly and helpful. Despite having booked a time for breakfast we had to queue and service was slow. The restaurant staff were extremely polite and apologetic. We also felt charging for parking, in the hotel car park, was a bit mean!

Well maintained hotel with good Covid procedures. Staff excellent and food tasty and well prepared. Excellent gin bar! However, breakfast on both days was a disaster with long waits to be seated (40 minutes) and slow service.

Two day trip to Cheltenham to visit friends. The hotel is very well situated with an ample car park so no need to drive anywhere. The hotel is beautifully decorated with a victorian theme. The rooms are very comfortable and well appointed and the staff are very friendly and helpful

Our first night away without our children We had a lovely time in Cheltenham the hotel was in the perfect location We could walk to the centre and main shopping area in a few minutes Breakfast was very relaxing and a lovely selection We will definitely book there again The hotel car park was safe and secure
