Thank you for a lovely stay it was wonderful. Staff excellent very friendly and willing to help, food and room excellent. Will definitely recommend the Queens to my friends and hope to visit again sometime.

I rang the night before to say I would be arriving early as I had a 10am meeting with a small break before my 2pm meeting, and was assured by the Reception staff that this was not an issue, in terms of room availability for my meeting. I arrived at 9am. I had a conference booked from 1. However, I asked if there would be any room available for me to use for my 10am meeting. I was assured this would be fine. I set up in the lobby initially and then a a lady from the 'events team' said it would be fine for me to use the conference suite, from 0930. 3 minutes prior to my 10am video conference, another employee then walked into the conference suite and informed me that I could only use the suite from 1pm, as the hotel had some sort of maintenance works in the room I was in and it would be 'noisy' and advised I set up in the lobby. I stated that the nature of the lobby meant that I would be unable to have my meeting and also there was background music played in the lobby for all guests also. He then said I could stay for my 10am meeting and then vacate the room. At 12.15, over 3 hours after my arrival, my colleague walked in and was provided the key to her room for her 1pm meeting immediately. I challenged Reception and stated I had been waiting all morning and not afforded the same service, despite ringing the night before and assured. I understand that this is a request, and you have many rooms to clean and prepare, but I am not sure how you can fulfil one guests query so swiftly and not another's. I didn't get my room until 3pm, in the end. Further, the room I was provided with, was designed for an individual with restricted mobility. I am unsure if these are what all your rooms are like, but this was also unexpected.
