Beautiful hotel, spotlessly clean and warm. The reception staff were outstanding, particularly Charlotte who was professional, efficient, helpful and friendly. Unfortunately the Seasons Restaurant was a disappointment. We were looking forward to an 'award winning' evening meal, however, we waited for a ridiculously long time for the food to be served, and became fed up with the 'thank you for waiting' platitude - one diner vocalised our thoughts that we were unlikely not to wait! When the (hot) food did finally arrive, it was luke warm. The seating area was also cold with little or no heat on a sub zero temperature evening. It was such a shame as the room was lovely and the bed sumptuously comfortable. If in the area again would definitely stay again but eat elsewhere.

A nice setting for a hotel. The room was well equipped and comfortable. We had a meal in the restaurant and whilst a little overpriced was delicious. Drinks very expensive so didn`t buy any - why must you charge London prices in MK. Car park could do with some work.

We really enjoyed our short break. The location is really special - you really could be in the middle of the countryside, and we had a lively walk around the village and orchard after breakfast. Gorgeous decor in both our room and the public areas. Staff were all excellent with just the right mix of friendliness and professionalism. And the breakfast was possibly the best hotel one we’ve ever had.

we stayed overnight as a birthday treat for my husband as the hotel was close to Bletchley Park which was on his tick list. The receptionist was really welcoming and helpful. Couldn't believe we were given complimentary water too! The hotel was very clean and the breakfast was varied.

Lovely building, good location. Heating/Air-con system needs some work.

This is my third visit here and each time I have managed to have the same room, which I love. The bed is so comfy and I love the big bathroom with a window. Food is great too and staff always friendly and helpful.

The restaurant food was as good as always, but the service was very slow and a bit disorganised (e.g order was not taken for 30 mins on 2 nights due to set menu not being available; very long gaps between courses.). Non -resident guests were also complaining. Rooms generally satisfactory, but in-room information poor (e.g. no hotel telephone number, or notepad; no information on the complimentary water or other minibar contents; bathroom needs a magnifying mirror; bedside lamp broken). The ordered newspaper was delivered on just one of three days. This hotel was better organized when it operated under the Mercure brand.

Average. Check in took a while and not particularly welcoming. Restaurant manager slamming empty glasses on bar and reprimanding bar staff in front of guests (me) not very professional. Room much to hot and no air conditioning. Nice hotel though.

Booking was hard going, 25 minutes to book one room. Then spoke to hotel eventually receptionist who I felt was curt. When you have a partner with a disability you want to know the odd thing ie ground floor room or lift to 1st floor etc., and I wished to talk about an upgrade the answer I got was "talk about upgrade when you get here" - end of conversation. I must admit after the booking scenario and the telephone call I made, we did have reservations about the booking and did wonder about cancelling. Once we got to the hotel the experience was brilliant, staff could not have been more helpful. Nothing was too much of a problem. Ate in the restaurant both evenings a delightful staff, food excellent. I don't remember (your older) senior waitress' name but she is a credit to your company in her knowledge of the area and overall "friendliness" and making you feel at home. Her comments on not needing a steak knife for our steaks was spot on the food as I have said was truly excellent. On a negative we did find our room especially by the window rather on the chilly side. The room was very pleasant and the doorways were great as wheelchair was able to got into the room.

Second time staying here for our family of five. It's a truly hidden gem, a five star hotel, comfortable, clean, beautifully decorated, lovely staff (even in the 'dead' period between Xmas and NYE they are cheerful, helpful and friendly). Live staying here, you do your best to accommodate us in great interconnecting rooms, fluffy towels, dressing gowns, breakfast, all for less that the generic chain-hotels in centre of MK. This hotel is perfect. Thank you x

Was a bit unsure at first but once there I loved it, it was quiet, clean and staff was nice and courteous. The hotel looks and feels typically like an old house (which it is) giving a homey feeling. The unusual different kind of fragrance all over the hotel reminded me of my childhood :) vast free parking and good breakfast. On Sunday, the young lady at the restaurant was on her own for a while, so there was a wait for coffee, pastries and hashbrowns were not refilled, the breakfast experience was better on Saturday. Loved the freshness of the pastries and the coffee served. Overall we had a great stay and can only recommend the hotel.

Your staff are excellent, always a pleasant greeting from front of house, office and cleaning. Your food was lovely with personable service. The setting is memorable and the design of the house excellent, pleasing decor and welcoming spots to sit and enjoy. We enjoyed meeting Lawrence who seemed at ease even though he had only recently joined your staff. Donald was helpful at the bar, we enjoyed our conversation with him and my wife thoroughly enjoyed practicing her Italian with Antonio! What a memorable stay.

A charming house with relaxed feel, staff helpful and friendly. Our room was a privilege room and apart from the safe not working was very good, housekeeping was excellent. Little bit chaotic for the Christmas Eve meal and a bit disappointing for Boxing Day meal. Christmas Day saw competent staff and didn’t disappoint, very good. The house is in an oasis of calm just the thing to get away from it all with plenty of walks .
