Had a lovely overnight stay. Rooms were spotlessly clean. Dinner and breakfast was delicious as well as the presentation. The spa was lovely. The treatment was well worth the money. Staff were lovely and service was quick and efficient. Would recommend booking a spa package with overnight accommodation again. Very reasonably priced.

PastyPowered Solo travel - TripAdvisor review

Stayed for two nights and was overall very happy. About a twenty minute walk from the train station and a five minute walk to the centre. The hotel reception, bar and restaurant felt very modern but the room was a bit dated but a very god size. Used the restaurant in both nights first night was not the best, second was much better. Typical hotel quality really. Breakfast was buffet style and had a good range of fresh food. Was quiet on both days. Only downside was the wait to get lifts down, but hardly a major issue. Would return

Awful experience - Complained and no response or effort to rectify the situation either! Spent the night away as a couple for the first ever time child free. This was a special occasion for us, yet we ended up deflated. THREE room changes due to faulty electrics in room 1, broken tv and telephone in room 2 and the third had no working heating so we chose to freeze to death all night rather than move again at 1am. The first two changes had already made us late and rushed to our dinner reservations, we were at our wits end. The hotel (if all was working well) would be worth the money (minus the fact you have to pay for the spa separate! and not to mention the ridiculous price of parking at the place) but with all these extra issues I expected at least a reply to my complaint and some form of rectification/ compensation for our stay. Out of pocket £110 and a bad night away.

Well located on the edge of town, parking in Cardiff is very expensive now and this is reflected in the rates that the hotel charges as well, adding approx £20 a night to room rates.

Generally a good stay, we were placed in a newly refurbished room on the 15th floor with fabulous views. Room layout is not the most practical though with no plug sockets near to a mirror and no where to hang towels to dry in the bathroom.

Well located. Good breakfast. Helpful and friendly staff. Perfect for a short break. Rooms are clean, beds comfortable. Gym excellent but disappointed that have started charging £10 to use spa/pool since last Xmas (we didn’t bother). Wasn’t clear on the information sheet.
