Stayed here over night Friday Really nice Very helpfull receptionist allowed me to check in earlier as my partner was on a course Nice facility spa included no extra charge Room service was nice Close walking distance to shops and bars Pool a tad cold but jacuzzi was lovely Room very comfortable Nice bathroom Well kept Clean Parking underground reasonable £18 24hrs

Well located hotel in Cardiff

The Mercure in Cardiff was a lovely hotel with friendly, helpful staff. The breakfast was of very good quality and the dinner, which we had included in our package, was also of very good quality and the chef was more than willing to accommodate for my dietary allergies. The pool was a lovely addition but it was extremely busy (Friday evening) and there were no beds to sit on so we did not use this facility. My only complaint is that the bed was extremely hard so not comfortable and the pillows were also hard and of poor quality so my husband and I both had a very poor night's sleep. If the beds/pillows were improved then this hotel is an excellent place to stay.

Good location friendly staff

Nice over night stay arrived super early and the receptionist was very accommodating checked if I could have room it was 10.00am and I wasn’t due to check in till 3.00pm but I explained my partner was on a course and I had to wait around was very grateful
