The reception stay was some of the best I've ever had, during an extremely hard situation with the COVID restrictions and then the lock-down, they took very good care of me as a guest. We had a great time but very disappointed at the lack of mask wearing by Net Jet crew! They also were very vocal that they would not use trace and track as “the last thing they want is to be told to stay at home”! Disrespectful to other guests and full of their own importance. Not the hotels fault but masks should be enforced. It made us feel at risk.

We had a pleasant stay here. We were very kindly upgraded when we arrived which was a nice touch. Lovely view of the garden and the room was quiet and clean. The coffee machine was broken and we were missing towels but this was rectified when we got hold of reception (took a few attempts). Would stay again!

Really relaxing stay. Friendly staff foremost and a perfect town centre location make it so easy just to pop out in an evening. Lovely spacious room with a great view over the lawns and all this for a reasonable price, what more could you want !

In difficult times the staff addressed all my requests that it was in their power to do. For instance, having both my evening meal and my breakfast in my room. Both of which were delivered on time hot and well presented. The only issue with the hotel for me which it was beyond the staffs control to rectify, was that there was no charging point for my new electric car. Which resulted in my having to stop at a services on the way home.

A very good experience. Room was clean and tidy, albeit in a little in need of a revamp. The staff were friendly and helpful. The location was absolute ideal for my needs being within walking distance of everything I needed and Farnham is very quaint.

I am a regular guest at the Mercure Bush Hotel in Farnam. I have become accustomed to excellent service and quality, however during my most recent stay (Monday 14th Sep to 17th Sept 2020) I have experienced some mixed and dissatisfying service. Upon checking in, I was allocated room 110 which also proudly displayed the plague "Mercure Privileged". Upon entering the room, it smelt of dampness and "dead dog". Additionally, the main light did not work and the toilet constantly ran a water leak from cistern into pan. I reported the light issue immediately. On Tuesday morning, I listed the issues to Fin and Greta and asked a simple ask "fix the issue or move my room". The light was fixed, and an attempt at fixing the WC was made, however, it kept on leaking. On Wednesday, action was finally taken by Reine (with a massive thanks) who moved me to room 215. As a diamond member, I expect more from the hotel, and I would certainly not classify Room 109 as privileged. It was simply terrible and the experience for the guest was awful too.

Friendly welcome, great attention to detail - including a card and bottle of champagne for our wedding anniversary. Room was good and was serviced well when requested. Food was amazing - a good selection considering the restrictions of Covid! Particular favourites of lemon posset and triple chocolate mousse. Waitress Lily, who had only worked there for 1 week showed great attention to detail and was attentive without being ‘in your face!’ AnnMarie was friendly and had a great knowledge of the hotel as a whole.

I was given one of the old rooms (room 219): - The fridge is overheating, I’m afraid it could cause an accident. I left a yogurt in it and it was warm the next morning ( I reported it to the receptionist and hope she’ll report it as she told me ) - I unplugged it. - The hairdryer wasn’t working and I was given a good one. - the TV wasn’t working either. - NON of the staff were wearing masks!!!! Which in times of pandemic, is disrespectful and unacceptable. - The staff tries to be helpful but they seem overwhelmed. - The young lady at the restaurant (very new) is proactive and attentive. - The person of a certain age at the reception spends her entire time on her personal phone resulting in extremely bad attention to anything else. - the personnel couldn’t find our bookings so check-in took some time.

We booked a superior double room but the initial room was at the back of the hotel with unlit corridors. The bed was unmade, tv in the floor and a dirty carpet. After calling reception a lady soon appeared and said there was a mistake. We relocated to a lovely room on the level below overlooking the garden which was fresh, clean and modern

Rooms are a little dated and the beds and bedding need updating. The towels are very old and certainly need to be changed. With a little work the rooms could be so much better. The breakfast is very nice always enjoy that
