250michelleg Friends getaway - TripAdvisor review

The 2 stars are for the staff who were all lovely. The hotel is poor. Dated and scruffy. Dirty walls/skirting boards/doors. The room was ok however there is no soundproofing so we were kept awake by doors slamming/next doors TV etc The spa is basic. Again it’s not very clean. Steam room had a really loud banging noise so didn’t bother with that. Pool wasn’t very warm. Changing rooms awful. Food was edible but my friend and I have both been unwell since eating in the restaurant. We have written to the manager about this matter. Would not return.

I often stay at the hotel when I travel up north for a client I consult with. The staff are very accomodating and flexible to my needs as often check in late and have preferd room requirements With the spa deal and breakfast + parking onsite, its very good value for money Can highly recommend

Great friendly hotel with bags of history and two ghosts apparently!! Thankfully I didn’t meet them! Large, spacious room with plenty of desk space. Great food at dinner, lunch and breakfast. Shout out to Chuti who checked me in, Becky at check out, Edwena at breakfast and lunch and Stephen F.
