Coldest room I've ever stayed in

I arrived after 7pm, and the room was the last in the corridor. I went to my room to eat and continue working on my laptop. The room was freezing cold (it was a mild 12 degrees outside, not bad for March). I turned the heater control on the wall by the bathroom to 27 degrees to get the room heated. I had to sit there still in my coat and jumper as it was so cold. After an hour I checked and it had brought the temperature up to 16 degrees (according to the controller). I put towels by the door to stop the draught and tried to use the wall heater under the window to get more heat, but this was off with a locked switch. By 10 o'clock I was still sitting in my coat, so went to reception and complained about the temperature. He came down and turned on the heater on the wall (after unlocking the switch) - it was after Midnight before the room was at a comfortable temperature. I was leaving by 8 o'clock in the morning, so I felt this was really poor.

Basic small room but everything we needed, clean comfortable bed, excellent shower in spotless bathroom. Peaceful nights sleep at a very reasonable price. Coffee/tea available at reception. As previously stated everything we needed for an overnight stay

Room was very small with a dog but it was very clean, service was good and there was plenty of choices for places to eat within walking distance. The grass outside was handy to toilet the dog too and there was ample parking for cars. I loved that you could link your Netflix account onto the tv.
