The room is clean and close to shops and eateries. My assigned room has hair dryer, bathtub, iron, kettle and facing the main road with a good view. There's gym and the restaurant serves good food. The staff were nice and respectful. Would recommend for stay while in Christchurch.

Located right in the heart of Christchurch, Novotel Cathedral Square boasts stunning views, especially from the 12th floor overlooking the iconic Cathedral; even in its state of repair. The service is top-notch, with all staff members being wonderfully happy and helpful. The breakfast selection is fantastic, offering a wide variety of delicious options to kickstart your day. Also offering eggs & omelets cooked to order. Being close to 2 tram stops, Novotel Cathedral Square is ideally situated to see the main attractions or simply stroll to nearby restaurants. An enjoyable & comfortable stay.

Had a little difficulty finding the carpark.. Staff friendly at reception and prompt checkin though I had completed details on line.
