We felt the room was very worn and average. The breakfast was very lack lustre. The fruit selection was mainly tinned not fresh. Just lacking compared with other hotels. The staff were very pleasant though and extremely helpful

The room is clean and close to shops and eateries. My assigned room has hair dryer, bathtub, iron, kettle and facing the main road with a good view. There's gym and the restaurant serves good food. The staff were nice and respectful. Would recommend for stay while in Christchurch.

Also offering eggs & omelets cooked to order. Being close to 2 tram stops, Novotel Cathedral Square is ideally situated to see the main attractions or simply stroll to nearby restaurants.
