I recently stayed here for three nights, the staff were very welcoming and very helpful, the room was excellent value and breakfast was top notch even though the toaster didn't work properly. The hotel is situated next to bus stops for services for Budapest Nyugaty, Keleti, Zuglo and the city centre so transport links are not an issue.

The hotel is located close to Heroes Square, one of Budapest's beautiful attractions. There is a bus that runs very often and stops just right in front of the hotel (line 72). This bus easily takes you to the city center in some 30 min. Alternatively, there is a subway station around 300 m from the hotel and it takes you to the city center in 12 min. The hotel staff is excellent: sweet and helpful. Breakfast is delicious and we also had a super tasty cocktail one night when we had walked so much that we no longer wanted to go out. Accommodation is clean, comfy and follows Ibis standards. I'll stay at Ibis Heroes again when I return to Budapest. Thank you, staff!

Price quoted in email was different than what had to be paid at arrival. Quality of the room does not reflect the price, grouting missing, major upgrades needed. No fridge in the room.
