My wife and I stayed at the Novotel Edinburgh park on the 18th and 19th of April First mention for the reception staff who were on top of their game both friendly and extremely efficient, booking in was faultless our room was ready for us early as we were going to an afternoon show in Edinburgh Restaurant was good value and once again the friendliness of the staff was an added bonus, nothing was too much trouble The swimming pool,sauna and steam room were an added bonus Room was spotless and again the staff made every effort to fulfill our needs for extra coffee etc Would we use this hotel again? Most certainly, the staff were exemplary and the Tram into the city centre a 3 minute stroll from the reception

This hotel met our needs adequately. There was parking on site and a tram into the centre of Edinburgh a stone's throw away. The room was quiet and comfortable. The staff were all particularly excellent. They were friendly and helpful and their general manner was so very good. We were there for six nights and so we had plenty of time to form an opinion of the hotel. Whilst modern and not characterful, the staff, the service, the food, the room, the leisure facilities and the ease of getting to the city centre were all excellent.

We stayed here as a family of 4. From the start the hotel went above and beyond. This was a trip for a birthday for my daughter and the staff had left out balloons and banners alongside a card and gift. They also upgraded the room. The room was immaculate. Very well equipped including a nespresso machine. Beds were very comfortable. The bathroom was very well kept and included all toiletries required. The swimming pool, gym, sauna etc were all very clean and well presented. A perfect size for a short break. Breakfast was very good and well worth the money. A very good selection of hot and cold choices. The staff made this trip what it was. Everyone from reception to the cleaning staff were friendly and went out of their way to make the stay comfortable. Location is very good as well with a quick tram journey in to the centre of town. All in all this was 5/5 and I would highly recommend the hotel.

All of the workers were very friendly. Room was clean and good size. Beds comfortable. Yummy breakfast. We had fun in the pool, sauna and steam rooms. Also enjoyed workouts in the gym.

Had booked queen room with sofa but was given room for family with two beds and very little space ... I've stayed at this and other novotels many times and always request same type of room on high floor with bath but no attention given despite queen room being available

It is always a pleasure to receive positive feedbacks, however we learn a lot from the constructive ones. I am glad that you brought into our attention this room type issue that you had during your stay with us. I had a deeper look into your current and also the previous bookings too. You have reserved a double room which you have received upon your check-in procedure. We provided you with the correct and reserved room type as per our records, however I have a feeling after all now, that you might had the sofa bed opened when you got to your room. Now, I am not sure why my colleagues provided you with the sofa being opened, however please accept my sincerest apology regarding this matter. Although I also would like to mention here, that we would do everything to sort this out on the spot as this is our main goal and priority, and would only takes a couple of minutes to deal with.
