Room key fobs not working - needed to be taken to room by reception with master key. Toilet water continually running although fixed promptly. Unable to exit into reception via stairs as final exit door locked.

Well located but needs refurbishment

I am a loyal Accor hotel guest and I like the Ibis brand. However, this particular hotel is not my favourite one. I feel it needs a thorough refurbishment. Our room had a number of issues, but the supervisor was very helpful so we could change rooms.

After staying Many times at this group hotel Platinum member , no complimentary drinks , will stop using this chain in future . What they say on their reward package is not fully supported by all the hotels

Was the perfect location, extremely close to station and a short walk away from the main attractions. Service was great as staff was attentive and friendly. On top of that luggage was stored for us eith no extra costs

Room had all basic necessities for a comfortable stay. The twin room single beds are rather narrow and the mattress topper kept coming away from the mattress however I didn't sleep too badly. Staff were welcoming and friendly and any requests were dealt with efficiently. Housekeeping staff were great and seemed to work extremely hard.

We'll located, great staff but NO parking

The hotel is conveniently located and the accomodation is great. The staff are lovely and very friendly and the breakfast was excellent. However, despite what it says on their website they do not have parking which was a major reason for our choice. They have an 'arrangement' for 50% discount on the horrendous rates at a nearby carpark. But this only applies to the 24 hour rate. We checked in and then had to leave a couple of hours later to collect someone else there was no discount on the ridiculous rate. Somewhat marred an otherwise great guest experience.

Nice quiet night sleep

We had a family room for extra space. The rooms are ideal for a couple of nights. They main bed was set-up as one bed but was easily moved into 2 single beds. The beds are comfortable with mattress toppers in place also. Our bathroom was small but functional in a sort of port-a-loo style wet room, which was different to another room we stayed in on a previous stay. The fittings of the room were a bit tired but perfectly functional. Extra pillows provided in room. Great price for location. Didn't have the breakfast this time round but had it previously and was really nice. Although on a Saturday morning compared to weekday morning the food goes very fast and they can struggle to keep up with demand. Overall a great place to stay, will be back again I'm sure.

Staff are friendly and responsive. We booked two rooms for a family trip and asked for adjacent rooms. But they only managed to arrange two rooms on the same floor. One of the rooms did not have flushing water. The staff came to fix it but only worked two times. We checked out next day so it was not a big issue.

Firstly we were allocated a disabled room which we had not requested. We moved and the new room had not been cleaned properly. We did report this and although the bathroom was cleaner. The bedroom floor had not been swept or vacuumed properly.

As usual the hotel was clean and well presented. Some of the bedroom fitting are showing signs of fatigue, for example the blinds no longer close effectively. We will still come back
