Great location but breakfast is poor

We rang, emailed and had confirmation that we could do an early check in (from 10am) as our event started at 12. When we got there, we were told our room was not ready yet (our friends also did the same as us and there room was not ready until 11am). We had to get ready in an hour in our friends room, couldn’t shower before the event and were placed on the 8th floor when we returned at 11pm (not sober). I specifically requested a low floor as I am disabled so cannot do stairs easily & have anxiety when going in lifts. When we eventually got our room we were presented with just 1 toilet roll covered in faeces, stained bed sheets & mattress & cracks & cobwebs on the walls. We may have not been sober however we were still completely disgusted at our experience here.
