Having purposely chosen to stay, based on previous experiences, with exception about Christmas night mix-up - ordered room service but no record found, and upon checking out - bill incorrect, it was an enjoyable stay. Location is perfect for needs, facilities ideal, rooms and beds extremely relaxing.; and staff mostly attentive.

Everything looks clean and tidy. Staff were very helpful. TV was a bit small but that’s fine. Breakfast was good except maybe some improvement with the cooking of the sausages and bacon ( both overcooked, dry and hard) kids didn’t like it at all when it’s their favourite meal. Coffee was warm. Overall a good experience. Very close and quiet which we love.

I stayed for four days, early book in late book out. I really like the rooms and the motel. I have already recommended this to friends. The pool, day spa, access to the Gym and staff it is all great under very hard times.

We wanted a convenient location for an overnight stay enroute from Gold Coast to Melbourne and I do not think we could have found better. Close to the M2 & M7, we did not waste anytime going in and out of the City. The fact that the hotel is pet friendly is also a bonus for us as we travel with our small dog. The staff were very friendly and helpful, we will be back.

This visit occurred on Boxing Day 2021, during the pressures from the covid concerns. We arrived and had no trouble checking in and felt safe with the help of the kind receptionist. The room was a delight, nice and large, considering the tariff we paid, clean and more importantly the sofa was comfortable to sit in and later we found the bed a delight to retire to. We had been to a family function and so being tired and full we settled for room service of a nice hamburger for our enjoyment. Next morning we had a comfortable and safe breakfast (a la carte), with good service, including a delightful proper orange juice drink - what a delight. Unfortunately we were only there for one night and so we left having had no troubles or delays in checking out. The staff were all considerate, wearing masks and polite. It was truly a delightful place to stay being a good location for th motorways and northern areas. Well recommended.,

Trying to find out about the room service was very difficult. I was unable to obtain an answer about the food I requested and was given 2 different answers from the evening reception staff. Around 7 pm the reception staff told me to go to the dining room, the dining room staff told me to go to the bar. The process for room service was very unclear. It took 30 minutes for me to obtain an answer and then I was unable to order the food I wanted even though the room service menu said that the food I wanted was available. The underground parking was difficult to exit. My passenger had to get out as the key wasn’t working. She had to then help someone else to get in and she was almost trapped. I don’t believe that the evening or morning reception staff were practicing COVID safe measures. In the afternoon when I arrived the staff were wearing masks and there was a protective screen up. In the evening the staff were unmasked and there was no protective screen. In the morning the staff were unmasked and there was no protective screen, the lobby was full of people and no staff were making any attempt to have people social distance. I was a little frustrated that I had to fill out a form declaring that I was not experiencing COVID symptoms and had not been in contact with anyone experiencing symptoms or who had COVID and yet the staff and other guests were not practicing Covid safe measures or being encouraged to. The cost of my stay was more expensive than I had been quoted. The room was excellent and I enjoyed my stay.

We have been staying here for years when in Sydney, it is always our go to accommodation. Staff are the best in the World, nothing is too much trouble, check in& out most efficient. Special mention to Chris, he seems to have lots of jobs, but does them all fantastic. Thanks to all

Choose to stay at Hills lodge due to its proximity to Castle Towers. Have stayed here previously. Parking is always good, rooms are spacious and the pillows make for a good nights sleep. The gardens and surrounds are always well maintained and pool is a decent size. Service is always great.

We recently stayed at the Grand Mercure. What a great place. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. In my opinion going out of there way to help us. Restaurant very good too. We'll be back there soon.

Great place. Very clean with all the staff doing everything they could to make our stay a good one. Every time we had a question, we were put in touch with the correct person to solve our problem - Not that there were many. Will definitely be back.
