How to Lose an Expensive Item or the Ibis Hotel

While we were sightseeing in the city, expensive earrings that were in a visible place disappeared from the room. They said they would search all the trash cans and look at the cameras - the result is nothing. No one entered the room except the maid. If they are not in the trash, then where? If they "accidentally" threw them away, they would have found them. And the question is, throw away the earrings? Seriously? There is only one answer - our maid didn't take anything, we didn't find anything, your problems. Write a statement (and they knew perfectly well that we had a train in two hours and there was no time for this) - they deliberately dragged out the time, saying we will find it, we will search everything again, etc. Of course, they found nothing. A terrible feeling remained.

Please kindly be informed that, upon your report on one night before your departure, all our staff on duty have taken actions to find the claimed earrings, which includes security checks, garbage control and even vacuum cleaners control, until 10.00 a.m next morning. Unfortunately, there was no evidence of lost earrings. You have been notified about this around 10.00 a.m next morning. You have also been advised to call the police if you were not satisfied with our findings, apparently which have not been a chosen action at your side until your departure around 15:00. Calling the police is an individual decision in which our hotel may not have any kind of influence. Please also kindly be informed that, all our rooms are equipped with electronic safes for storage of valuable items. We would like to inform you that claims for any kind of lost items are being very seriously investigated in our hotel and we never hesitate to co-operate with security forces in case of necessity. This is a boutique hotel with all the facilities of a business hotel. Very nicely priced and at a very convenient location. It’s close to two Metro stations Dinamo and Beloruskaya. Rooms are nice and cozy. Breakfast spread is a real nice one. Everyone can find a food for self in the breakfast spread. Staffs are very courteous and supportive. They do have English speaking staffs. They have big and small conference rooms. We did our business presentation to our clients during the stay. Rooms are neat and clean.

What I liked: - polite staff in both front-desk and restaurant - clean and fresh-looking room - very good housekeeping service (there was a single issue with soap replenishment, but it was sorted rather quickly) - nice breakfast (we took just one, as we preferred to dine out in the city, but it was good value) - compliance with anti-COVID measures what needs to be fixed: - internet (literally, issued to connect every day. Please, check with Ibis Paveletskaya how they deal with this) - I would still offer bottles of water (at least on arrival) for Accor members - since the CRM was down on the day of arrival, there were issues with recognition of benefits (still, got it sorted). And there was no internet on the day of arrival. - construction works nearby made commute a bit worse (though, no wrongdoing of the hotel here - it's just the fact to consider).

Am Accor Platinum Member and Ibis Moscow dynamo this hotel staff are ORRIBILE RUDE AND INCOMPETENT! This hotel report fake this to you accor member they think the account will be cancelled for his lier and take care when you chose this hotel they are LIER accusing you something you never doing and you can find hair on the bed and dirty and blood from other people before you!!! They give only bad service!AVOID DONT GO TO THIS HOTEL NEVER!!!!!

I stayed for 3 nights in December. Quick check in and check out, good and quiet sleep, tasty espresso downstairs and friendly staff. Location was convenient for my purposes, but could be a bit of walk for those who rely on subway. Perfect for a short business trip.
