Good rooms but not so good service

Rooms are OK and mostly quiet in this centrally located building. Team did it best to try to give good service but the organization of this hotel seems to be a total mess. Arrogant women called me twice on the phone saying I had excedded the check-out time (Night team allowed me late check-out as a Platinum member but the i forlation was lost). It was my 6th stay here but I may now consider going to another Hotel group.

Great, old-school comfort. Exemplary staff in the reception. Neighbourhood is not the best: do take care walking around the area. Not the hotel's fault it's embedded in a neighbourhood that has become quite dodgy through the years. I am a solo female traveller but well-travelled so I know how to deal with neighbourhoods. Also into architecture and history, so I loved the hotel's modernist components.

This was a wonderful hotel experience. I arrived to Novotel on a business trip from the United States and hadn't slept in two days. Guilherme greeted me with kind and helpful service and managed to get me into a room earlier so that I could rest. His service was above and beyond. It made the whole first impression of my trip. Everything about this hotel was top notch, wonderful service, nice rooms, and great restaurant. I highly recommend it!

Excellent hotel for business travel. Extremely kind and helpful staff, especially Guilherme at reception. Very clean and well maintained. A decent fitness center as well, and the restaurant is also good. Would be a pleasure to stay there again.

Amidst the hustle and bustle of the guests checking in and out, late and early, and being quite demanding, I noticed the front desk staff exhibiting exceptional service, grace, and confidence.
