Novotel Marrakech Hivernage Hotel 4 stars

Everything was excellent!!! Location, staff, breakfast, installations. The only thing I think should be improved is the beds... very, very hard, so very uncomfortable.. same for the pillows.. also, if there are 2 beds, there should be 2 night tables (1 on each side) or separate the beds, and have 1 in the middle. Everything else was perfect

Everything was perfect from check-in to check-out... my only suggestion would be to have bigger cups/mugs In the room and black tea...

This was my third visit to Marrakech; I stayed in different hotels and riad, but frankly this hotel is the best among them so far. The hotel staff are soooo friendly. Price is perfect, location is outstanding; everything is a walking distance; restaurants, coffee shops, attractions all within a walking distance. Rooms are spacious, and clean.

Good place to stay in Marrakech, room was clean and everyday well done! breakfast is great but the marocan tea not well prepared. The hotel employees are nice and efficient. However we are a bit disappointed by the restaurant staff, being a large group for nothing because the quality of the service was not really good. The music every night is great for the ambiance. Too bad the sun is not present on the terrasses and the swimmingpool in winter. The pool was broken we couldn't use it. In my opinion, the quality in general is ok but no sufficient for a Novotel.

hotel is more like hostel -rooms are outdated - full of dust -broken kettle -reception do not care about guest experience -avoid this hotel despite being located at prime location next to sofitel -breakfast not many hot options -loud music in morning at 7.30am like you are in a Pub!

Very good location, but the rooms needs now renewing. Staff is fine and helpful.

very bad experience /poor customer service-room was having shabby look with dust in rooms-electric switch wires near bed without cover dangerous to touch ,electric kettle broken (requested personally reception to replace it 4 times ,no action taken !) aircon only worked on heating mode -before check out asked for bill to be ready but reception guy did not utter any word and took no effort to prepare invoice after 30 min again i have to request for final bill and waited for 10 minutes before request accepted ! overall this was worst experience in Accor hotels

Our room was not cleaned we had to ask !! Toilets were not cleaned, we were not given water, and with 2 people booked in we were given a bottle of water on our last night. Pool was out of service and the towels were filthy most times Phone in the room didn’t work, when we asked a member of staff he told us we had to go to the front desk to report it ourselves even though he was the porter. Completely disappointing for a 4* hotel, I will rate it as a 3* hotel

Unfriendly hospitality, housekeeping officers not forthcoming. Trapped in the lift for a short while due to a blackout, intermittent. Require complimentary water for each day No swimming pool, guests have to go over to neighbouring Sofitel Shower chamber pipe was clogged (takes time to flow down) but rectified after calling housekeeping Accor clients do not feel special under programme in Novotel Hotel room is satisfactory with all promised items. Hot water is working fine.

Our stay was perfect. Aicha at the front desk was very professional and a wonderful person. She helped us with all our requests without any hesitation. I will definitely be returning one day.

I stayed in the hotel for some days of vacation. The location of that hotel is good, a 20 minutes walk to the Jamaal El-Fna square, a stop for that hop-on hop-off bus is just in front of the house, and Hivernage is a good quarter. My room was spacious with a look to the pool and had everything I needed. The service in the house was good and helpful. The breakfast offered a lot of fresh prepared food and had a wide selection.

Very much enjoyed our stay, didn’t realise the pool would be empty so advance notice would be good on the hotel website. Great breakfast and lovely staff

I paid extra for a pool view room to open my drapes and see an ugly cement shell with green algae puddles. The pool had been drained. I also was looking forward for using the pool as I am an avid swimmer. Your website promotes the pool as one of its attractions. During the 5 days total at the hotel NO work was being done to fix it. The bathtub drain fixture was inoperable. Likewise there was only lukewarm water at very low pressure in the tub (while for some reason there was hotter water in the shower stall.) I have stayed at this hotel 6 times in the last 7 or 8 years. I hate to see it decline. It seems all the money is not going to rooms maintaining but to the new bistro and bar that throbs with over-amplified techno-music and is covered wall-to-wall with pop art in dubious (Sadly the 'art' defaces the lobby as well) Note: food is pedestrian at best. Morocco has a vibrant, rich culture but sadly no respect is given to it by Novotel. They are desperately trying to present a hip, millennial vibe but as one who comes to Morocco to see Morocco I certainly did not witness anything Moroccan in the property. The decor is loud, soulless and disrespects a beautiful land and people by lack of a recognizing Moroccan culture and heritage On the positive side, I really like the staff and manager and consider them friends, and hesitated to critique the hotel. But as a traveler who depends on other travelers for information I felt that it was more important to provide an honest, candid critique of property.

I have the habit to stay in this hotel because of it’s location, but I always had issues with the rooms: no water in the fridge, no cleaning, broken shower, dirty floor, dirty bath room... towels are old and dark white. Same towel is divided between toilet and shower... ufff
