The reception staff were helpful on arrival but not with additional queries we had. The girl in the executive lounge was outstanding in her service. The room was good and very clean and comfortable. We have found the prices have been going up considerably however.

Stay ok but on returning to collect car on 5th December hotel was closed as now a quarantine hotel. We walked down connecting passage with luggage but found door to hotel closed. Notice said closed but did not state where you go to collect car. The door leading to the passage was open no indication there that hotel was closed. Walked back up then down to entrance. No notice but on asking a security person told to around the corner-no signs as to where. Finally found reception desk hidden in the corner but even this did not state hotel car pick up merely for 'meet and greet'. Very poor indeed. You should have at least emailed us to advise us of the situation-you managed to chase for a review twice!!!!

I booked a triple room, 1 adult, 2 children but got one bed. There was no resolution and as such all three of us had an awful night's sleep

We had a great visit and enjoyed the facilities, even though they were reduced due to Covid restrictions. However, we were surprised and disappointed to see a charge to our debit card for the "welcome drinks" which should have been covered by the tokens given to us on check-in.

First time back since before COVID, they have done a lot of work upgrading the rooms/bathrooms etc to a very high standard. Unfortunately not all the restaurants were open or exclusive bar on the 8th floor. We understand this was due to not enough people staying so hopefully when we return in early 2022 everything will be open. The staff were all helpful and polite and made our stay even more special. Thank you and keep up the good work.

Firstly, I’d like to say the staff who were working were fantastic. The only problem were there were not enough of them on a shift, waits of 45-60 minutes we’re not uncommon when waiting for the bill at the restaurant as the few staff were rushed off their feet. The IT / point of sale system seems responsible for the biggest waste of their time. The food was good although the 6 or so items on the crew menu became very repetitive by the end. During the period of my stay the rooms were not suitable, I had no chair or desk, only an uncomfortable low backed sofa which served no useful function. The natural heating of the rooms means that air conditioning is required despite the time of year and extra noise it produces. There were not enough hangers within the wardrobe and with no drawers or even a stand to rest the suitcase on, the rest of my clothes were not straight forward to access.

I have addressed your feedback in regards to the crew menu, room service menu and restaurant service issues encountered to the relevant Head of Departments for further action in order to improve our guest experience in the future. Following our refurbishment, our rooms are no longer equipped with a chair or desk. We do understand the inconvenience that this can cause to our guests. This issue has been addressed this issue to our Senior Management. On your next stay with us, should you request additional hangers please do not hesitate to reach out to us as we will be pleased to arrange this for you based on our stock availability. Our Front of House Manager has already re-organized training of the team on the drop-off charges procedures, in order to avoid dissatisfaction. On a positive note, I am delighted to read that you did find our staff fantastic. Used for first time when flying from Gatwick. Usual park & fly now no longer available so gave Sofitel a go. Parking right by Hotel (signage regarding dropping off could have been clearer). Efficient check-in. Nice room, comfortable bed and very clean. Would definitely use again.

Excellent hotel with very helpful staff. Nothing too much trouble. Excellent room, clean and well equipped for a three day stay. No aircraft noise. Buffet breakfast had everything you could imagine. Bar area was relaxing and had a good open space, complying with Covid-19 distancing rules. Will stay there again when visiting London or surrounding area.
