The family stayed here overnight before heading back to Australia. We can't fault the place. Getting from the airport via their shuttle bus was easy. The hotel is very large and impressive. All the staff couldn't be more friendly or helpful. I think the best way to describe this hotel is that if it was close by a Thailand beach and not at the airport , I wouldn't hesitate staying here for two weeks , we found the experience that good.

Convenient transit hotel

July 2024 - Transit Stay BKK Airport. My "go to" transit hotel at BKK. Pricier than other options nearby but super convenient and a true '24 hour stay' transit hotel (checkin anytime of day or night stay 24 hours). Walkable via lower level tunnel and good signage from BKK arrivals area. Also has a free shuttle service - I always take it back to the airport, but depending on arrival time/crowds on your BKK arrival walking might less stressful than trying to spot a shuttle from the curbside after a long flight, etc. Hotel has something for everyone in F-B offerings, sports bar happy hour my favorite. Rooms are a bit worn but are very clean, have great amenities, robes, slippers, free bottled water, nice pillows and huge king bed. Always comfortable here for transit stay at BKK.

A Motel In A Metropolitan City

During checkin, front desk invited us to a VIP lounge for check in. However nightmare starts immediately as being VIP, we were informed that one of our suite booked is not available and advise us to downgrade without any choice or explanation. Next we ask out luggage to send to our room as our arrival time was rather late and would want to rush for last order for a bite, yet at VIP lounge, we were told that they can't sent our luggage as they don't have access key to our room. I immediately ponder how they do cleaning when guest are out during the day. Maybe they need guests to be in room to do cleaning service. Novotel being the only airport hotel in BKK is a total joke for their service.

Excellent hotel that fits a specialized purpose

Me and my brother arrived very early in the morning to Suvarnabhumi airport and needed a place to rest and freshen up before we could head in to the city and check in for our other hotel in the afternoon. This hotel had a day room offer that fitted our needs perfectly. A Day use room is exactly what it sounds like a room for the day from 08:00 to 18:00. After a 12 hour flight this was well needed. It's easy to reach the hotel as it's connected to airport via a walkway in the basement floor.The room was clean and big. We rested a few ours and had lunch at the hotel restaurant. Did not use the pool this time but I'm sure it's nice from the looks of it. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Will definitely use this hotel again whenever I have an early departure or arrival at Suvarnabhumi airport again.
