Overworked staff and chaotic check in. Basic hotel with basic breakfast and a strange smell in corridors upstairs. Room tiny and you had to climb out of shower to dry next to the bed. No tea making facilities and had to pay £13 for a tea tray which included a deposit of £10 which you got back. I got charged another £10 on top. Forget about trying to contact hotel by phone you won t get an answer !! Still waiting for my refund. !!!! Factor in paying £10 for parking on top of price. On the plus side close to Cardiff Arena

Only 15 mini walk to town centre with good price. Lift only can be used with swipe card for extra security. Hair dryer is not available in the room but it can be borrowed from reception straightaway.

I booked this hotel because, it's not far from the city centre & the price was great. The first room I was in had what looked like blood on the floor, I emailed the manager once this was spotted (I'm still waiting on a reply). I pointed this out the the receptionist who was lovely & offered to swap me to a new room the next day, which j accepted. I was moved to the new room the next day & was pleased with the cleanliness of it. I was unfortunately let down as I had left for the day around 9am, I out the sign on my door that stated not to clean my room as i was okay. I came back to find that my room was cleaned while I was away, how did I know? I left my suitcase on the bed & when i returned, it was on the floor which was not great as the cleaning staff diregarded the sign on the door. I'm not happy about this & highly doubt that I'll be staying again.
