We enjoyed the stay and everything went well. The pool was great and also got in some saunas. Pakorn on the check-in counter was very helpful and friendly. Suggest he will be a good higher level manager in the future.

We had a lovely stay at the Grand Mercure. The room was a very good size and nice and quiet, considering how close you are to the action of Sukumvhit rd. Short walk to BTS and MRT. The staff are very friendly and professional. Nothing was too much trouble.

The location is not easy to find when using the local ride-booking apps. The weekday shuttle bus service operates only until 4 p.m., and on weekends until 5:30 p.m. It would be better if the service were extended to around 9 p.m. or 10 p.m., as the hotel is not just a short walk away — you need to walk about 200 metres to reach the nearest 7-Eleven. The room is generally clean and neat. However, the water temperature is quite inconsistent. It takes some time for warm water to come through, and it often alternates between hot and cold. This can be quite inconvenient if you’re used to showering with consistently warm water.
