The locale and experience was up to its usual standard but this time it seemed like one arm didn’t know what the other was doing. I had to request things several times to get what had been arranged and on checkout I was charged over $1000 extra. I picked it up and it was corrected immediately by a very helpful member of staff. In essence, we enjoyed our stay and it was good but not quite the usual seemless stay on this occasion. Hence the 8/10

Sofitel is always great. Our only confusion was around easter Friday and although the laws say no Liquor, the sofitel club 5.30-7.30 food that typically includes hot and cold foods was cancelled to be replaced with 3-6pm cakes and scones.

Stayed in Brisbane many times and as a Diamond member been treated amazing .. this stay half a bottle of wine and chocolate freckles??? They said they upgraded the wine .. geez to 15$ thank you. Lounge had good food but the quality of the drinks are no where near what Noosa, Sydney or Melbourne have. There is a distinct difference in the quality. Room was good, upgraded. Nice stay but nothing to write home about .. Sofitel Noosa, Melbourne or Darling Harbour however they are top notch.
