Friendly staff, nice modern hotel. We were disappointed that the restaurant was closed on a Saturday night. Had I known that, I would have booked elsewhere.

The room was excellent. Breakfast finished at 10 and we went down at 8.45 am. Several people came for breakfast after that. The display of food needed replenishing and the juices. There were no plates and another customer had to make a request for them. It was disappointing as the breakfast is 20 euros per head. We will stay there again but not order the 20 euro breakfast.

Very nice week at Hôtel Mercure Caen Cote De Nacre. The staff has been very nice and helpful during this Christmas week. It was a pleasure to enjoy this very calm place outside the city center.
