I liked the hotel, it was clean and well located, the front desk agents need to be trained so they are more welcoming of the guest also they need to acknowledge the guest once they are in front of them, I got aggravated since they kept me waiting when I arrived and the agent was on the phone, the supervisor was next to her and she did nothing either, she didn’t greet me or even tell me to wait, very rude, this is my only issue with the hotel. Also I think they could improve the soap in the rooms, it was really cheap

The room was clean, the only problem I had with the door knob, but no big deal, my problem was the people at the front desk, they made me wait because they were either on the phone or the computer or talking to each other. They didn’t acknowledge me immediately when I arrived, they need to be trained better for hospitality, I was standing in front of them for 5 min or more and they wouldn’t bother to say please give me a minute, nothing that is not the way it was rude. Every agent did the same. They were friendly after but not aware of the time they made me wait when there wa no line, the supervisor was next to the agent and DID nothing either.

Room was leaking water on the window, breakfast being served at the Novotel but no one mentioned it had to be paid daily, had to go there and come back for the wallet. Got a call in the room saying I had to change hotels because Ibis was closing. No prior notice, nothing.. why didn’t they said it before? What a terrible situation

I faced some troubles concerning the booking, which I has procceed through internet. I Has booked an optional breakfast, but as I checked-in, there was no breakfast booked in the hotel´s system. The attendants have kindly solved the issue, although in the morning, again there was no information at the breakfast desk that I has requested a included breakfast. Once again, thanks to the attendant, the issue was solved. So, my only complain is related to the internet booking.

We have a good experience. However we felt a little bit fool with the cab we took in front of thr hotel, the price it was very expensive and the driver charge us five reais more, because we have two lugagges.

The receptionist, named "Costa" took my credit card and wrote down its information. This happened during my check-in, on Feb. 18th at around 00:45 AM. I am not happy with that.

After a long trip, we got late to the hotel, and while our car was parked in the front with all our things, unattended, in the dark of downtown of Rio de Janeiro, we waited for more than 20 minutes while only one person was checking in and buying food. Then we had to go around the building via a very strange street to enter the parking, and go to the back where the trash is stored to get the elevator. When we got to the room, it was an accessible one, with a strange toilet cover (not sanitized). The shower didn't have a glass door, but a curtain with mold and yellow stains in the bottom. And everything in the bathroom was yellowish. Only after having to go back to the reception and a 10 minute wait, I got a decent room. And it was not well sanitized. In the ibis at Copacabana, the towels, and toilet paper were wrapped with plastic, differently from this stay of ours at Santos dummont ibis.

I really enjoyed Santos Dummont Ibis. The location in Rio is really good (literally besides the airport and near to the city center). The price is good for the place and the accomodations are nice and comfortable. The breakfast was awesome - even with Covid restrictions - a good point for the hotel since i've been already in different hotels during this time and all of them were very bad.

The hotel is 300m from the french, german and greek consulates. It was easy to find a place to eat nearby, has parking, easy to get in and out with a car and probably also public transportation. The room was great, and the staff were delightful.

Actually the Ibis was closed and we were upgraded to Novotel next door. In the first room the air conditioning didn’t function. We were moved to another room so that was good. We used the room service and that was quite bad: pasteis were almost burned, cheese of poor quality and the pina colada tasted synthetic... Anyway, the (second) room was fine, customer service ok (Indidnt feel like complaining about the food in these difficult times) and the breakfast was also good. All hygiene measures were at the appropriate level.

I paid exactly DOUBLE the regular price because of carnival. It wasn't even on the weekend. it was a Tuesday. And with that price, is not worth what I paid for.

Near the airport , but not clean, near a very unsafe area. Loads of homeless doing all dodgy stuff. If you are an adult fine , don’t bring children there. Guests were partying in their bedroom until early hours, The hotel in dirty from the main entrance, the room was ok but the shower was filthy.

The hotel amenities kit needs to be improved. Missed conditioner and shower cap. You also need to pay more attention to the towel cleaning process. All towels were very hard and rough. In addition it is a good hotel for a quick stay.

Once again I stay at this hotel and the staff is to be commended with the receptivity during my stay. Although in my opinion the hotel should do a maintenance in the rooms as they still do not conform to the standard of the hotel chain.
