The staff were amazing, very accommodating & friendly, so very greatful for the flexibility and support they showed me whilst I was there for 2.5wks with a family member in hospital. Location to hospital, groceries & restaurants is perfect and quick walk to Hyde park and city.

Total nightmare

No Wardrobe, no Drawer space so nowhere to put clothes away. A 1970 Coat Rack was the hanging space. Bathroom shelf was hanging loose so anything placed on it slipped and fell off. Very noisy in the corridor until early hours of the morning. Plus side the bed was comfy. Checked out after 2 nights and went to the Pullman nearby for almost the same cost, I had paid Ibis upfront so I was the loser not them

CHEAP STAY WITH LOW STANDARD

NO CLEANING SERVICE, EVEN ASKED FEW TIMES TO CLEAN MY ROOM AND BATHROOM BUT SOMETIMES THEY JUST CLEAN THE TOILET AND LEFT ALL THE OTHER ITEMS THE SAME (RUBBISH, TOWELS...). THE ROOM IS TINY, THE RECEPTION WAS NOT HELFUL EITHER. WILL PAY MORE FOR PROPER ACCOMODATION NEXT TIME

We found it was basic but livable, . Laundry room was out of washing powder and unusable during our 4 day stay. . Breakfast was good but area where food was laid out was very small and got crowded. You had to ask for coffee as it was a non self service machine . Self service one in seating area would have been easier as the poor girl was so busy and very often the coffee was only warm.

Was a great stay and very tidy. The breakfast was cheap so we didn’t expect much but we were pleasantly surprised. We could even see the harbour bridge from our room.

I stayed for three nights - the room was clean and location great. Due to being budget accommodation, you do get what you pay for and the other guests were loud and did not seem to care much about other peoples comfort. The staff were friendly and helpful and due to the price and convenience of the location I cannot really complain.

We did not receive the specific rooms we requested and were confirmed of six months prior. This led to an 11 & 12 year old having to sleep in a seperate room. Not ideal. We received no compensation for this. Also, why not mention the street closest to the front entrance for taxi drop offs? The address listed includes a long step staircase to get to the lobby.

I frequently visit this ibis budget because it is great for location and price without having to sacrifice comfort and style. The rooms are a good size and beds very comfy. Bathroom is always clean and very modern. And the view is great!! I love the receptionist staff who check me in as they are always so friendly and helpful. Unfortunately I'm moving so wont get to experience this hotel again for a while but I will hopefully be back because I truely feel at home here.

Nice budget hotel on strategic location

We stay just one night during for our transit at Sydney. The family room was big enough for our family of 4 and i can say that this was our biggest room compared to all ibis budget that we've stayed before. Kings Cross station is only few minutes walks so very easy to reach most major attraction. The only thing for improvement was our exhaust system at the bathroom doesn't work so the smell comes out into the bedroom but since we only stay for one night, it doesn't really bother us.
