Not as good as expected

Bit noisy, speakers blasting outside bar & we could hear in room on 4th floor. Plenty of Indians without manners staying & a lot did not use the tongs provided for food but, at least, they were fairly quiet compared to some other reviews. All staff were friendly and helpful. Rooms are looking a bit dated & in need of an upgrade. Location is fine & not too far to shopping centre, bars/restaurants and the beach.

As an Accor property, we have an outstanding reputation for guest service and satisfaction to live up to and it is clearly apparent that we did not manage this during your time with us. As Hotel Manager it is ultimately down to me to address any issues raised by our valued guests, therefore, I would like to take this opportunity to respond to your review. I am truly sorry regarding the behaviour of Indian guests at breakfast. Despite talking to the tour guides to address them, and having placed signs for this, it seems to not be working. I have already spoken to the F&B manager, and we are planning to have separate areas for breakfast. Once again, we apologize for all the inconvenience caused due to groups’ behavior. We are currently talking to tour guides who have contracts with us to brief their respective teams before they start travelling. We hope this solution works out in everybody’s favour. Your constructive comments are of immense value in providing a focus for the improvement of the hotel products and services. Just returned from a great stay at mercure. Great staff throughout. Great pool only need to be up early because towels on loungers from dawn. Great buffet breakfast and nice to have seperate area for Accor members. Great location. Clean rooms. Hot water bit slow in shower. Definitely will stay again next trip.

Enjoyed the stay despite asking for a room on a high floor and getting only the second floor. Was offered a room on a higher floor but only a twin room which was not practical. Noise for a change was very acceptable as previous visits were ruined by noisy groups, No teapot in room which would have made my stay better.

prime location for any activity you have in mind however toooo many cheap tourists from India who only stay 1 or 2 nights but make a mess of the place and parties up to 11pm with loud music which prevents you to sleep. Also as Accor members there are no decent food outlets in Mercure of the sister hotel Baracuda next door where we could have dined at discount

Good location and value for money. I try to have 2 holidays each year at Pattaya Mercure. There are lots of facilities nearby within walking distance e.g. restaurants, bars and beach. The hotel staff are always friendly and helpful.

Worst hotel for family vacation

This property Seems to be rotting as the rooms are pathetic state,nothing in the room works.Tv, shower,locker,worst ever stay in Accor,It was prepaid booking otherwise I would have shifted to another propert.Breakfast was also already paid for and it was pathetic,Chef should be fired for that quality of food and menus selection also ,also maintenance head should also be fired,as everything in the hotel is either not working or broken.My Pattaya visit was affected because of Mercure hotel.

Overall the hotel was good although the bathroom was small and needed renovation. The pool was closed for renovation but used pool at sister hotel. Unfortunately the stay was ruined by groups of Indian men shouting in the corridor. One night was woken at 2.30 by an Indian man fighting with a Thai girl over money. The large groups of men make this hotel unsuitable for families now. It is a shame because the Mercure staff are so wonderful.

The Mercure Pattaya is a very good value for money hotel towards the southern end of the main beach area. A couple of blocks inland from the beach means it is fairly quiet. Decent sized rooms and a good standard of services. Will stay again.

Mercure Pattaya Stayed here in September 2019 The location is central for restaurants, shopping; dept stores bars and the beach etc. I enjoyed my stay here the staff were very helpful room service good. I had the deluxe room with a Queen Size bed which was very comfortable the room is of good size with tea making facilities. Wardrobe only had 3, hangers for clothes which also had a safe inside. The refrigerator was very small. In the bathroom there was a powerful rain shower, the one criticism I have the bathroom was very small there was a very narrow corridor into the shower and the show cubical was very small, the wc and the wash basin was cramped together. There is a buffet breakfast with a very extensive menu and a pleasant environment to enjoy your food. There is also a separate area for Accor club members to have their breakfast which offers a few extra options that none members don’t have. There’s a nice swimming pool with loungers around the pool, So overall I’m not sure if I would book again wood need to book another room type with a bigger bathroom.

Rooms need more oversight

Room had fridge not working, door lock battery flat so locked out and had to wait for maintenance servicing late at night 4am. However these problems were rectified by the staff who are very pleasant both at reception and pool bar. Compensation given for being locked out of room late nite. Just needs tracking of battery life for the doors and staff check if fridge working when stocking it. But a pleasant place to stay otherwise and excellent staff.

is a nice hotel. the staff is really perfect and very very friendly - special thanks to (the welcomer and the staff of the pool bar sorry I forgot your names) - the rooms are very clean and nice. Thanks to the room maids - super friendly. the pool area could be better - the photos are more nicer then in real. and a lot of indian people there but I have no problems with them - they was also very nice and friendly. - I will come back for sure.

Overall the hotel was good, staff were friendly and helpful, but: * Lifts are slow * Pool was booked for a private function on the Friday night * I locked the key in my room and waited 10mins by the room door as instructed but nobody came and I had to return to front desk

Located in a peaceful area but very close to a variety of shopping and food options, the beach and night life. Very friendly, helpful and polite staff. Clean spacious room. Good breakfast spread. large pool area with water slides, bean bags and lounge chairs with quite a large pool. The downside was the shower area is very narrow and constricted.

I have been to this hotel before, but due to the quality of my recent stay, I do not think I will return on another occasion. Service was so so. The quality of breakfast is questionable, particularly over coffee and juices.
