My shower was broken, the light didn’t work properly and the balcony door was broke - very poor quality room. Staff are really nice and friendly though and hotel is central to most things

Overall, the experience of my stay was satisfying. The room with a balcony was a plus. However, I didn't understand why the pool party was still allowed, given the pandemic around the world. Many of the white women, apparently drunk, made loud noises until 5 AM. Generally, I liked the hotel and my stay. It is just the guests who were staying there should show some respect and rules regarding social distancing, for keeping themselves and us safe!

Stayed for the LOS Celtic festival, sadly due to the Corona virus situation I had to cut my stay short by a week. I would recommend this hotel as it's nicely situated and quiet at night. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful.

I booked a room with a balcony. Yes i did get a room with a balcony, what i didnt book , obvious when i walked in the room, was i didnt book any furniture on the balcony! Seriously, no chairs on the balcony? DO i sit on the floor? How much is it to book furniture for the balcony? Was the furniture on strike? Is the balcony a furniture free zone?

Stayed here over 50 times. Really love all the staff here. Location is great central pattaya rooms big shower/bathroom old but spotlessly clean. Pool area really big. Great hotel but even better staff

Cha Cha is a very nice and active staff, I like her. The room is big and clean, breakfast quality is within expectation. This hotel is already old and outdated, but still good value and acceptable. However, the hotel must improve their WiFi speed and stability, today is 2020.

Enjoyed our stay apart from very noisy guests two or three nights a week. One incident was successfully dealt with by security. Rooms could do with an upgrade, and pool is in need of repairs. Apart from that, we had an enjoyable stay, mainly due to very pleasant staff.

The Mercure is a well appointed hotel that is close to shops, restaurants and the beach. The hotel has a large swimming pool, a nicely decorated bar cafe that charges fair rates. The staff are most helpful, kind and smiling. We had deluxe rooms which were perfectly acceptable, clean and comfortable but personally I would not define them as deluxe or classic. This would not deter me from returning however as I thought the rooms were priced fairly as were the breakfasts, also fairly priced, that included fresh and well cooked produce to suit Western and Asian tastes.

The Mercure hotel is not what it was

We have been staying at this hotel many times before. It has now been 4 years since our last visit and unfortunately we will not be coming back again. The door lock which stopped working, the fan housing which fell down in the shower, the pieces of broken cement in the pool, the lack of dinner options, the watered-down cocktails in the bar, the lack of chairs on our balcony and the inadequate number of pool loungers have all combined to make our stay quite awful. We wish you luck for the future.

I was more than happy with my return visit, it must be at least the 5th or 6th time of visiting. ( I am adding here my comments about some of the staff as the place for this later in the survey does not give enough space for this). It is always nice to be remembered by staff and CHAT at the front door was the first to rush over to welcome me back. Up on the 5th fllor MALEE, who was looking after the rooms, again greeted me with a 'welcome back'. In the Aqua Bar NIK was always excellent at her job with a smile and a helpful attitude. Finally at the front desk NANA was more than helpful when I wanted to check-in for my flight back home. Good staff make a hotel and hotels that keep staff over the years must be doing something right.

I hv book family room which supposed to be equipped with toys and playstation for kid. Once check-in, there were no toys and no playstation in room. I hv to request reception to install playstation for my kids. No toys per advertisement. Very disappointed.

Although food was ok but name Mercure doesn’t sound to be even 3*hotel .The management should start refurbishing first before taking bookings very disappointed with hotel services.
