Good budget hotel. Pretty close to the center bia bus and metro, but still quiet. A few gaffes with the shower temperature malfunctioning, and the old AC being a bit noisy. Great service by Omar during breakfast! The staff was very helpful and friendly.

Rooms basic and clean. Aircon not very effective in the hot weather experienced during our stay. Rooms need updating. Mattresses a bit hard. Replace the hairdryer please awkward to use. Access to rooms poor as card keys failed multiple times and. Had to be reset. Breakfast good with wide choice of food. Pub on site. Reasonably priced for London. Convenient to tube station district line for access around London.

My First stay at an Ibis property and was rather disappointed. No fridge in the room, poor aircon and having to request an iron each time I needed it was a little irritating. The entire property needs a face lift as the feel of the place is dirty/ smelly and shabby. I was generous with my overall experience score due the the staff working there. This property has a superb workforce - attentive polite and so on in all areas of the hotel I experienced from reception, housekeeping, restaurant and bar staff. A very big well done to them to maintain high service standards even in such poor working conditions.

Very nice room well maintained

Good but tired

The staff were all friendly, and the location of the hotel was excellent for what I needed. The room was a good size, and had plenty of space for storage. It was mostly clean, I could tell that it had been cleaned that morning, however I did notice a couple of places they had missed (eg the door, which was visibly dirty and looked like a drink had been splashed on it). Overall though, I felt the room looked a little grubby, and I don't think that it the fault of the cleaners. The room was in quite desperate need of a refurb in my opinion; the bath was so worn that it looked filthy, despite being clean, and the furniture in the room was scratched and worn, which was a little off putting. The reason I have rated it positively overall though, is that the most important thing in a hotel room is the bed, and I found this one to be very comfortable. The bedding was spotless and a lovely clean bright white, and it was obvious that the bed was newer than everything else in the room. The mattress was a little firm, so that's worth noting, but that suits me perfectly. Overall, I would stay again, because the location was perfect and the bed was very comfortable. My only real criticism is that the room was old fashioned and tired, and unfortunately that gives the impression of it not being cleaned or looked after.
