Let me start by saying that the check-in was easily the best I’ve had in the country. The receptionist was so welcoming and took her time to explain a lot of things despite how busy the hotel is because its fully booked but she wasn’t rushed at all. Now that was the positive side. The hotel itself is outdated, some hotels are old but have their own charm like few in Luxor or Cairo for example but this one has no character or any identity. The area around is a bit rough and dirty but I guess its like that everywhere in Naples. Its close to the train station and places you may want to visit in Naples. I particularly used it as a base to visit the Amalfi Coast which was a big mistake because public transportation is unreliable in Naples and Amalfi and I got stuck multiple times. My advice is to book tours for the Amalfi and don’t repeat my mistake. The room is definitely nothing luxurious, I mean it doesn’t even have a kettle and only God knows how these hotels are getting their star ratings.

Palazzo Caracciolo is an evocative and elegant 16th-century residence, traces of which are evident in the three large areas of the hotel, including the monumental staircase, cloister and olive garden. Despite the recent renovation of the structure, it was crucial for us to preserve its historicity. We are extremely pleased to learn that you appreciated the central location of our Renaissance palace, a short walk from the historic centre, an area well served by public transport, making it an important junction for the main attractions of the city and its surroundings, such as in your case, the Amalfi Coast. Furthemore, we are even more delighted to learn that you appreciated the professionalism and friendliness of our staff, who are always ready to give our guests a warm welcome and offer them the information they need to fully explore the Neapolitan experience. At the same time, we regret that you were not able to fully enjoy your MGallery experience. Regarding the absence of in-room kettles, due to the Covid-19 health emergency, these facilities have been removed in order to safeguard the health of our guests. Design,atomospher,amenities,room equipment are in higher range for MGallery. Some negative points; Welcome Drink Voucher:Voucher says clearly that can be used in Bar or Restaurant.But on the day of arrival,at the restaurant waiter said NO,and only used at ghe Bar.I ssked the reception,but there was no clear answer. Another point;On the day of arrival,soon after the meal,never seen,never served black sujts looks senior waiter came with the bill.As I did not have right money,asked whether I could add tip to the bill.The waiter response was,it is common sense to pay tips in cash.Actjally,expecting ghis,I asked reception to change money,but they said ,they could not.This guy shohkd kearn how to speak,and normally,I am happy to gjve tips who very well served.After this,at Michellin Star restaurant accepted tips on the bill. On the following day,there was a gentleman,wearing suits.He was very very good in gjving advisds on every foods,drinks,even desserts.I very well prepared cash for tips,and his sh ordinate called him DIRECTOR.I hope he would continhe to be the head of the restaurant.

It was majestic, the hotel crew was very friendly and helpful. It was an experience that can not be forgotten, its equipped with many things, bad thing is that the jacuzzi must be payed 25€ per person. Anyways, i hope you enjoy ur stay here. Thanks.

Hotel jest położony w części historycznej Neapolu, blisko do wielu ciekawych miejsc. Budynek hotelu z zewnątrz oraz wnętrza ogólnodostępne są rzeczywiście godne 4 gwiazdek, ale niestety nie pokoje hotelowe. Lobby i obsługa bez zarzutów, aż do wyjścia z windy na korytarz prowadzący do pokoju. Tu przechodzimy do niżej kategorii hotelu, pomiędzy trzy a dwie gwiazdki. Pokój w jakim mieszkaliśmy to pokój z tarasem na patio typ superior. Niestety do typu superior mu bardzo daleko. Po pierwsze drzwi do pokoju, żeby się zamknęły trzeba było je na siłę dociągnąć, w innym przypadku pokój nie był zamknięty . W pokoju meble nieco zużyte, zasłony, firany, obrzeża łóżka nieco brudne, w łazience kafle wymagające ewidentnie wymiany lub naprawy, wanna z tak zniszczoną powierzchnią, że łatwo o wypadek z powodu poślizgu, odpływ mało drożny. Po raz pierwszy w hotelu 4 gwiazdkowym, w pokoju typu superior brakuje czajnika elektrycznego, kubków, nie wspomnę o urządzeniu do kawy. Mini lodówka owszem jest, ale może warto czasem ją umyć. Sprzątanie na miernym poziomie, sterty mrówek pod ścianą przy drzwiach balkonowych. Na tarasie mnóstwo tynku spadającego z balkonów powyżej, ekipa sprzątająca tarasy nie zmiata go w ogóle, pomijając zagrożenie wynikające z samego faktu spadających kawałków tynku. Niestety to nie było najgorsze. Podczas pobytu odbywał się event pewnej znanej marki na patio hotelowym. Przez kilka dni goście hotelowi mogli uczestniczyć w motywacji, treningu umysłu korporacji, bez ustanku atakowani przemowami przeplatanymi bardzo głośną muzyką. I rozumiem potrzeby hotelu w zarabianiu pieniędzy, ale miło by było było uprzedzić pozostałych gości hotelowych o czekających ich uciążliwościach. Mail wysłany w tej sprawie do hotelu pozostaję wciąż bez odpowiedzi. Reasumując Neapol jest niezwykle ekscytujący, hotel mniej. Na plus personel hotelowy bardzo miły. Niestety nie były to 4 gwiazdki, a cena zdecydowanie nieadekwatna do jakości.

Ignore what people say about the outside area of hotel , it was perfectly safe, you have to look at it with an open mind though, hotel is amazing, we where booked into a junior suite , it was on two floors, living area then upstairs to bed, the staff very friendly and nearly all spoke good English, chambermaids worked really hard cleaning our room Dailly , I was there for my honeymoon and took a shine to the local area , naples is naples and if you can get that into your mindset you'll love it , scooters and cars constantly getting in your way when walking, had one guy try to mug me at train station, but I'm from Glasgow, much dodgier than naples, gave him a wee clip round the ear so to say lol 😆 we where bed and breakfast in hotel , breakfast was decent, usual continental, with bacon and scrambled eggs added as an American breakfast, all the Italian breakfast on offer too with the different cakes to accompany a cappuccino, I'd go back tomorrow I loved the hotel
