Stains everywhere

The location is handy, however cleanliness of the rooms was extremely lacking. I was given a dirty room. When I went to reception to ask to switch rooms the receptionist asked if I wanted to swap due to the stains as there were stains in every room. After being moved to another room I can confirm this to be the case. I would not return.

The beds needs to be changed it’s like a prison bed I booked a whole week and I couldn’t sleep I wish this can be resolved as the hotel has many other good things the location the staff are very nice but the beds needs to be changed

Back drop-off went well, check in was very slow (behind a coach group). Followed by lift issues (one out of the use the other not going where requested) resulted in trip to adjacent Novotel to get to 10th floor. Room was good as normal. Breakfast was good but disturbed by large and noisey Chinese tour group. Staff friendly and helpful as ever, but will definitely reconsider returning to Ibis Reading.

The trip was very good for our 1 year wedding anniversary! The heating was working, the room was excellent and clean; very affordable too! So worth the price point.

Great location for being in the centre of Reading, room was clean and staff all seemed friendly. However the whole hotel is quite dated, with broken lifts, showers that run hot and cold, no usb plug sockets. Finally the beds are very uncomfortable, not soft at all, so made for quite a poor night's sleep.
