I am staying frequently at this hotel and I have a preferred room that I usually get. Last year I booked 5 additional weeks in 2020 asking for a room in the same category as before (privilege room) and if possible for the same room including breakfast. Arriving at this stay, I got a room in the standard category not even in the preferred floor, no breakfast included. I asked for an upgrade but nothing available. I then sent a mail asking to verify my future bookings and change them to a privileged room incl. breakfast. I got a reply that I get a room to the back site and I could ask at checkin if an upgrade would be available. That is not what I asked for. So I talked to the assistant director and he promised to change the reservation and send me a mail with a confirmation. This was a week ago. Still not mail. I do not consider this customer service. Especially when asking multiple times to book a specific room type and I always get something else booked.

Ich kann mich hierfür nur entschuldigen, dass Sie das als schlechten Gästeservice empfinden, kann ich vollkommen nachvollziehen. Ich habe mir Ihre letzten E-Mails vom Hotelempfang nochmals angeschaut und es wurde durch meine Kollegin bereits so hinterlegt, wie Sie es haben möchten und mit mir ebenfalls besprochen wurde. Das inkludiert ein kostenfreies Upgrade für die Privilege Kategorie (inkl. kostenfreier Minibar und late check out) durch Ihren ALL- Status und die Hinterlegung des Frühstücks. Es ist sehr schade, dass wir Ihnen den Eindruck vermittelt haben, einen schlechten Service zu bieten und möchten es bei Ihren nächsten Aufenthalten wieder in die positive Richtung drehen. the room was small, and i was had my family with me the reception persons was not full helpful but the rooms cleanses was perfect and the hotel location is great the breakfast was amazing and with different choices

I booked through Bosch official website. I have been staying in stour hotel since at least 2 years whenever I travel to Stuttgart however this time the experience was not good . I was charged differently

unable to fix an airco. 2 nights freezing

please note: both I and the person on duty tried every possible thing on the airco system on all rooms and all nights: increase of temp, reset... to no avail. so first night: i am given room 213. it's freezing. so after all the tests i ask for a fix and am moved to room 318. it's very cold but not freezing. airco does not work here either. with 2 blankets and 1 cover i manage to sleep on the cold. morning after: i complain and am promised they will send a tech to control the airco. second night: i go to room 318 just to find out the airco is still not working. so much for sending the technician there. i ask for some help, the only solution they come up with is to give me a portable heater. two issues: 1 - it's extremely noisy so impossible to leave it running the entire night and 2- it is small and cannot warm an entire room but only the direction it's facing. second night freezing. the morning after i tell the lady at the reception that i am leaving one day in advance because of these reasons. she asks to give them another chance and she'll make sure everything works, for free. i accept. third night: i am back in room 318 and the airco works! i sleep well. now, my point is: i spent 3 nights in 318 and you only bothered to fix the airco problem only after i decided to leave. this is not enough, this is not acceptable. this also meand that the maintenance didnt even bother to check the status of the airco after day 1. please let the lady at the reception know that she's been fantastic at solving the issue. it's unfortunate i do not know her name or i would have recommended her personally. she was tall and blonde, that is unfortunately all i can say about her but she really did her best and solved the issue. so long story short, you would have get a solid 1 because sleeping 2 nights in a row in a frozen room is not acceptable. but thanks to her my vote raised to 3. which is still low and still in the red part, but i don't think your hotel deserves any more than that this time. finally - thanks for letting me stay free the third night, but this doesn't change my vote. i did never ask for a price reduction or a free night. i prefer to pay and get the right service, by far.

Thanks to Herr Kopp, I didn't have any problem. He solved my problem with safety box immediately (I had the same problem in Sofitel Munique days ago but there it took 7 hours to solve), and gave me water that I didn't receive in the 3rd day

Helpful, professional staff who were particularly good with our delayed baggage issues with KLM. Hotel is modern and clean - primarily a 'business' hotel we thought. Close to city centre and the light railway system. Sadly, few English speaking tv channels.

The noisiest room ever

The room was a bit old but otherwise ok. However, the noise of the traffic came straight in and sleeping was really difficult. I have never experienced such a noise in a hotel room before. A positive thing was that this was a hotel where you didn't have to sweat all the time but the room was quite cool.

The room was nice and quiet, the staff friendly, the restaurant nice. Even though the room had been booked fo two persons, found only one bed set on arrival. Called the reception and got an extra bed set reasonably face if not immediately. This is a good one if you come by car, as there is covered parking (paying). The hotel is a longish walk or two metro stops from Schlossplatz, the heart of the city.
